Sunrise Motel Was billed for a motel room I didn't stay in. I was charged for no reason. Terminal at motel wouldn't process my card. They were to call my cell when the wife was back. Never did. Chraged me anyway Venice, Florida

I was in Treasure Island for one night only. I tried to check in at the Sunrise Motel at about 4:30 pm. I was told by the man that he was having trouble with the terminal and it would not process my cared. We tried another card, nothing. He said he would have his wife call my cell # when she got back to the motel. They never called. I went back a few hours later and told them I wanted to cancel I had found another motel since I had not heard from them. It was getting late and I wanted to go to bed. They refused to let me cancel. I went to the room only to find people sitting outside my room drinking and raising hell. I went back to the office and they would not refund my money. We had an arguement, we called the police and they told me to call  my bank and that was it. I left and tried to cancel the payment. The bank said it was too late but did file a dispute claim. I will also write to the Better Business Bureau in the area if they don't refund my money. I know it is only a small amount but it is the principal.
