Sunrise Motors, Ezra Boals Sold us a lemon with a warranty that didnt cover ANYTHING! Yuba City California

First, they sold us a truck that needed a new transmission. When confronted, Ezra told us to use our warranty. I told him that our warranty did start for 16 days after purchase and he said he would do that work and post-date the invoice. That us ILLEGAL so me and my husband left.

About a month later we brought the truck to our mechanic so we could use our warranty, the warranty didnt cover ANY part of the transmission even though we purchased "engine and transmission" coverage.

We had to pay $400 for a rental car while Sunrise Motors and the warranty company went back and forth deciding how bad they could rip us off, they did a good job by the way.

So we canceled the warranty and the $$ went straight to our mechanic. Now here is where it gets even better... They are still charging us 20% interest on the $1,700 warranty that we no longer have. Now, i may not be the sharpest tool in the shed but i do know enough to catch on that IT IS ILLEGAL to continue to charge us interest on this warranty, (plus my attorney said he shoud have cut us a check for the interest amount). So, moral of the story is... DO NOT buy a car from the egotistical, God complex having, smooth talking folks at Sunrise Motors!

Now i have to take time off from work and take this dealership to court for a new tranny, rental car, blah blah blah.
