Had no intention of buying into anything, were actually told that there was no sales pitch involved when we signed up for this vacation. After paying for the vacation we were told we must attend a sales presentation or pay the full amount for the vacation.
After wasting about 5 hours I gave in and bought a non-ownership package with the knowledge that I could terminate the contract.
On the fourth business day after signing I e-mailed them a termination letterThey acknowleged receiving the letter but said we signed something stating that we gave up our right to terminate.
After emailing back and forth a few times I asked for a copy of the form where we gave up our right to terminate. It's been three days and haven't heard from them.
Have all the e-mails saved in hopes something can be done.

The contract does not exclude terminating/cancelling of a contract.
There was a couple that hand delivered a signed letter to VIP to cancel their contract but they have been getting the same run around that we have, so it just seems that VIP has no intention of following the contracts.
We have asked several times to be provided with a copy of a waiver that we have been told we signed. This waiver according to VIP said we agreed that we were not able to cancel our contract. In all instances our requests were either ignored or not referrred to directly.

There are some travel agencies specialized to promote Sunset Group, although they're affiliated, nor Sunset Group and / or VIP Travel Club are not responsible for their promotions, or sales techniques, in this case Sunset Resorts are just a service provider.
Even if someone has aknoledge receipt of the cancellation email, to this date we have not received the original signed cancellation request specified on the contract.
