when i used to work there, employers would tell you to tell customers that you only need their bank account number to just make sure they're a member of a bank and thats all!little did i know until i read from your website that these people are being charged almost from the end of the call.they also promise bonus's all day long for sales you get and then they find some way to take it back by saying one of the sales didnt go through but when you ask them for more information on it , they give you the runaround and never pay you.sounds like a manager might be getting the bonus not the employee on the phone. very deceptive business practices not good for employee or customer,,,only the company.very high turnover rate especially in some rooms because of vulgar unedited music in some of the dialer rooms...room E.when a new female employee complained about it,,right after the meeting she was taken out of the room and put in a nonproductive room as a way of weeding people out. she left the next day.very stressful environment... previous employee, toni

A 5th BANK ALERT ON SUNTASIA MARKETING!

AUTHOR: Joe - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Tuesday, October 17, 2006

I told you in my earlier posts banks are becoming increasingly aware of Suntasia and their umbrella companies. Well here is more proof for you.

A fifth bank alert on Suntasia and Distinct Advantage has been posted. This time it is GESA Credit Union sending out the warning basically calling Suntasia's Distinct Advantage a scam.

Hang Up if Distinct Advantage Calls!

September 28, 2006

Recently, some members have received calls from a company that calls itself Distinct Advantage Rewards. They say they are authorized to give Gesa members a $100 gas voucher and a $400 travel voucher, all they need is your Gesa account number and other private information.

THIS IS A SCAM. They are not acting for Gesa and they are not giving away anything. They are scam artists trying to get your financial information for fraudulent purposes.

HANG UP on them, and report the call to the Consumer Protection Division of the State of Washington at 800-551-4636.

If you have given out private information about your account to anyone in this or a similar scenario, please call the Share Drafts Department immediately for information on how to protect your account. Monday-Friday, call 509-946-1611 or toll-free at 888-946-4372. If you need immediate attention on a Saturday, you may call the Kennewick Branch at 509-783-2117.

End of Alert.

You can read the alert for yourself by checking it out their website below.

This is becoming an all too common theme with Suntasia.

Which police dept is ware of then and who these people need to contact

AUTHOR: Beverely - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Wednesday, October 11, 2006

I called the police dept. They need to file a police report so an investigation can start. Since I was not scammed, I had nothing to report.
As you can see they are aware of this company but no reports have been filed. this is the email I recieved from them: Suntasia aka Travel Agent Direct
Bev

Travel Agents Direct is a telemarketing company that obtains the personal information, including the bank routing #, of customers through various other marketing companies on line or through infomercials on TV. The customer makes a purchase through one of these of companies and their info is passed on to Travel Agents Direct. They supposedly sale travel related packages. Their address is:

Travel Agents Direct

11125 Park Blvd.

Seminole, FL 33772-470

They use phone numbers in the sequence of 727-683-1113 / 1114 /1115, etc. This is address falls within the jurisdiction of the Pinellas County Sheriff's Office. Their phone number is
727-582-6200.

THE NAME HAS CHANGED TO Travel Agents Direct

AUTHOR: Joe - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Sunday, March 05, 2006

As of February 28th it is called Travel Agents Direct and most of the phone numbers have changed. They still have the main customer service number as 1-800-853-9982 and the office number as 727-471-0276.

Just click below for a visual.

Sunatia INC Link Yellow pages

They are located at 8751 Ulmerton Road, Largo, FL 33771 NOT the address they give you over the phone. The one they give is to the travel agency that supposedly takes care of the free vacation which is another lie. It isn't free at all. The $400 in airline vouchers they offer only cover a small fraction of what the ticket costs. You have to fork over everything else yourself.

Also, the Florida Passport the $149 hotel accomodations to Orlando & Fort Lauderdale (time share program) is now called "Floridaway". The calling card "Teleflex" was changed to "PRISM Communications". It sounds like "prison" when you're selling it over the phone.

These changes were made because like in the past, many people caught on and started complaining. The manager even admitted in a meeting that the change had to be made because every year or so "things" have to look different in order to keep going.

Sorry to say, as a former employee I knew the product was foul after a while. I found out that the discount travel card they send you has to be returned to them otherwise you'll get charged. As for the calling card (Teleflex, Prism etc), if the customer doesn't want it, they have to write a letter which states to deactivate the card otherwise they'll be charged $49.95 anyway. Sadly many were charged before they got the package whether it was the travel, phone card or the hotel accomodations.

The company that owns all these different names including "Capital Vacations" is called, "Suntasia Marketing".

Their website is http://www.suntasia.com. There, you'll find ALL the REAL corporate officers and their agenda. Make NO mistake about it, this company are ONLY geared towards making money NOT promoting a satisfying product.

Sad to say they made $20 million dollars (2004/2005 fiscal year) off of the backs of innocent people. I saw the numbers myself in one of their brochure reports. How long can they go before someone FINALLY puts an end to this charade.

BEWARE OF SCAM-TASIA ! !

Thanks,
