Buyer Beware!

Owner(s) Enrique Valdes, +1.210.501.9510 and Gary Parrott 813.334.5898 both run a custom bar b que grill operation apparently out of San Antonio Tx, and manufactuer out of Mexico, they advertise online on their webite: www.sunterraoutdoor.com where they sell their products.

I contacted Gary Parrott after seeing a custom build i needed for a custom outdoor kitchen i was building, and Gary called me (from a Florida phone number) and gave me "the sales pitch".

I loved the product and he told me "to build and ship it would take 6 weeks to my door, most likey before" he stated...so I paid over $1,400 (IN FULL) to a company with NO internet history or reviews, and was reluctant bc of the long turn around time for the build.

After paying the invoice, i never heard from him again untill i contacted him via email (yesterday) nearly 5weeks later into the build to get a status update. To a HUGE surpirse to me he added nearly 2 weeks to the delivery time, stated a big song and dance about delays....at this point the outdoor kitchen has been built out of stone concrete and mortor, to the specs of the unit i ordered, and iam now demanding that he not reneg on the original time frame only to be emailed back by the owner Enrique Valdes, and his strong arm taticts saying he will not respond to my angry emails, and he is refunding my money (which of this date i have not seen) .

I explained to him the outdoor kitchen was already built to spec and this will cause alot of problems regardless of the offer to refund the purchase price....he never replied.

Truth is the unit NEVER went into production, it was all a scam. He offered ZERO customer service, rather was rude and bully like in nature.

This company is bad news, and has alot to learn about customer service. I now have to demo 1/3 of this finished concrete outdoor kitchen to accomodate a different grill top costing my time and money not to mention the 5 weeks lost due to waiting for a custom grill never buit!
