This company is an internet based company who in web based copy alludes to being a company that produces a product in Austin, TX.  Reality is they are about as un-American as it gets. My experience started with seeing a google add for the product. I contacted the # and received information about the product from a guy named "Steve" . He assured me that there product was 100% made in Austin Texas. Since I live close by to one of there "Factory Showrooms" I decided to will call the product. Upon inspection of the product it looked legitimate and like, of other Made In US Boards I have purchased in the past. After The first use, the board started to crack and de-laminate. I did some research to find out that there supplier of boards is a factory in China called Dragon Fly. These guys are running the total bait and switch scam. There customer service is just replacing the first round of junk for more of the same. Buyer Beware stay away from these guys!

SUP ATX Clarification

AUTHOR: SUP ATX Official - ()

POSTED: Monday, September 22, 2014

Unfortunately, this complaint against SUP ATX stinks of a competitor posting a bogus complaint. If this were a true consumer complaint, this unhappy consumer would have graciously received detailed clarification from SUP ATX had they truly inquired within.

SUP ATX has never received a complaint from any customer regarding being misled about where SUP ATX goods are manufactured until this post was discovered. SUP ATX is very clear about manufacturing.

SUP ATX is in fact an Austin, Texas based company that has dedicated manufacturing facilities in Asia. SUP ATX does manufacture a small percentage of their products in the US and Australia, but most products are manufactured overseas where the majority of the entire SUP industry manufactures. Nowhwere does SUP ATX hide or dispute this. SUP ATX is in the process of moving a significant percentage of its manufacturing to the US, which will make SUP ATX the first major paddle board company to manufacture its boards in the United States, but that transition is still in process. SUP ATX boards are manufactured overseas using U.S. manufactured materials such as JPS Composites fiberglass.
