I bought 500 gold in WoW from a website which claims to have a 10 minute delivery time. After i paid they stated 10 minutes is not actually the delivery time. I then saw a chart that showed how quickly people who buy from this site get their gold. For my server 75% or so get it within 2 hours. A day later in my inbox i see a message that said they were out of stock and if i had further questions i could chat online. Well everytime i attempted to use their "live" chat i was given a mesage that said hwo high their volume is and how long the queue is. I stuck around and a person using canned responses told me it will be delivered shortly and i wil get an email. 8 days later i was yet to receive any email or gold so i decided to try the "live" chat again. I told the "person" that I still hadnt received my gold and then the lady just stopped typing. I gave up and filed a dispute with paypal and am waiting on the outcome. Do not buy from Super Continental USA llc or www.mmogap.com

Bad idea

AUTHOR: Pyrite - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Tuesday, January 27, 2009

Buying in-game currency in WoW or any online game is a very bad idea. If you're lucky you'll only lose out on the cash you pay out. Many of these sites are operated from overseas and are just as likely to have a field day with any CC or bank info you give them.

Aside from that is the fact that this practice is prohibited in virtually all online games. World of Warcraft will ban accounts suspected of buying or selling in-game gold. If you do wish to purchase in-game items for real cash, your only safe bet is through the official website for that game.
