Company website offers discounted transmissions, free towing, $100.00 off coupon.
Super Discount Transmission sign states they've been in business 30 years.
There is no registration as a business with Arizona Corporation Commission.
BBB listing on their website and on their cards was not verified by BBB.  I was told there was a "pending account--needed to be evaluated".  After discussing my situation with BBB, they told me to report to Attorney General's office -- fraudulent scams.
Bait and switch tactics.  They give you a verbal quote.  If you ask for a quote in writing, it's much much higher ($895 vs $2995 or $3995 in my case);
They do not tell you they will charge you $85.00 per hour in order to estimate what is wrong with your car;
They do not tell you they will charge you $85.00 per hour for lift time, for estimate time, for tear down and rebuild if you do not pay the price they give you. They do not tell you they will hold your car hostage.

 I'm a private investigator and found out they operate under a variety of names and register a number of companies under different names. This offers the consumer no one to hold accountable by law since the actual business listed, Super Discount Transmission, is not listed at all as a business.Various information (misinformation) is given to redirect you to other supposed companies (give you the runaround). The mechanics call you names in Spanish, run you down and tell you you "have to do this now or you're going to regret it" (exact quote).
It's been 6 days and they are still holding my car hostage.  No repairs have been done, nor have any repairs been authorized.  They refuse to release the car. A report has been filed with the Attorney General's Office.
A report was filed with BBB.  BBB stated they were NOT a BBB company, but would take the report because consumers needed to be notified about the schemes and fraudulent practices.
