In NOv. 2003 I received a call strating that they would send me a credit card with a $2000. credit limit. I needed to pay $299. out of my checking account and I would receive my card within 10 days. Sounded great. I was going through a seperation and wanted to take my son with autism to Disneyland like we always do at Christmas. The Rep stated "see how much money you'll have to spend".

I asked her many times "would this be here by Christmas, as I was taking the money out of what I had saved so far". I was guaranteed that this "credit card" would arrive 10 days after the money was payed out of my checking account.

I called all through December only to be told a "package" would be sent. I said that was not what I signed up for, and was informed the credit card would be in the "package".

We had to trace the "package" that didi not come until January. There was no card! I called customer service again and they said the card follows after you recieve the package.

I waited!!!!! and waited!!!!! called and called!!!!! Only to be hung up on , disconnected, or put on hold for over an hour!

I finally got a hold of a supervisor who laughed and said"your supppose to use the cd rom and order the credit cards that come up" I told him this was the first I heard to do this and wanted my money back since I did not get what i was promised and paid for. He hung up on me. I put in the cd rom and signed up for the three credit cards they I was offered. This was the response:
1. First one I was denied
2. Second one wanted money down - a secured card only
3. The third wanted more money to give me a card.

What did I pay the $299. for? I feel so foolish. You cannot get a supervisor to help you. You can't get through to anyone above them.

So here I sit. Out the money, no card! I even told every person I spoke to there that I would have never done this if I knew all that it involved. The promise was broken on their end and was basically lied to to make a sell. Do I take this to Better Business, a Districe attorney to sue for my money. Please help.
