I got a phone call saying I had been selected to participate in a 90 day challenge to try the pure green garcinia.  I was told that all I would have to pay was 9.95 for S&H and the first bottle would be sent out for me to try. The rep then told me that the next bottle would be shipped and charged to my credit card after 2 weeks unless I called to cancel before that time period was up (if I ended up not liking it).  I asked the rep multiple times, "if I don't end up liking the product, I can cancel without paying anything but the 9.95 correct?".

The first rep kept avoiding my question by telling me how great the product was and how there would be no need for any cancellation.  After my fourth or fifth attempt to get her to answer my question a "quality assurance rep" got on the phone and told me that I was correct.  I again asked this second rep my question, to make sure that there was no confusion and was assured for a second time that I was not obligated to pay anything other than S&H if I cancelled before the second bottle was shipped.  I felt better after speaking to the second rep and proceeded with my trial order.

I received my bottle and began using twice a day as instructed and within the first week I actually gained 3.5lbs.  I continued for the second week and saw even more weight gained with no change to my daily life, other than this product.  When I called to cancel before the second bottle was shipped I was immediately hung up on.  Thinking this was a mistake I calked back and this time was told that there is no such thing as a "trial" bottle and that I have to wait for the next bottle to ship and be charged to my card before I can call to cancel.  When I tried to explain what I was initially told, I was hung up on again!  I called back a third time and asked for a supervisor and was told that there are no supervisors with this company and that things had already been explained to me and there was nothing more to say, and I was hung up on for the third time.

I am hoping now that I can somehow get my credit card company to block any charges from them.  Guess I should have stuck with instinct and just hung up on them when they first called me, what a scam!
