The company is called Direct marketing media the owner is Jeffrey Lakes in chandler Arizona. They run radio ads and get people to call in and sell weight loss supplements their products include Xtreme Green Coffee Bean Extract, Xtreame HCA Garcinia Cambogia, Male Vitality Plus, HCG 5000, Super Colon Cleanse 1800, and Raspberry Ketone Slim, he is also responsible for the natorious Derma Pure, he had so many consumer complaints that he stopped selling it but then he decided it would be a good idea to just rebrand the product and call it L'Mage and just kept selling this to people. This is a horrible business and they treat people like garbage. When you buy product from this company they keep charging you every month and when you try and cancel the customer service # goes to voicemail....again the owner is Jeffrey Lakes, Superior distribution is a front company so people can't find out where he is located...this man has been scamming people out of their hard earned money for years. This is a shame because as far as the products go they seem to be ok, it's just this mans business principles and taking people's money when they were not aware of it and then of course not refunding it. But just to let everyone know that every call is recorded and they can listen to it and find out if the autos hip was properly disclosed to the customer and if not then they are in violation..however on the website www.Xtremegreencbe.com the autoship disclosure is hidden in the terms and conditions that are at the very bottom of the website so the customer doesn't even know that they will be charged every month and because you check a box during order confirmation that you accept the T&C your CC company won't help you out either...just be careful with dealing with this company it never ends well- Anonymous..

Not a 3rd Party Call Center

AUTHOR: The Real Truth - (USA)

POSTED: Friday, January 29, 2016

Jeff Lakes, the CEO of Direct Marketing Media LLC  in Arizona is not being completely honest. I know for a fact they are not just a 3rd party call center since I worked there. He outsorces & white lables all his own products and hooks customers in with a "free trial". He spends a a few bucks on the products and sells them for nearly $100. When customers realize that their on a monthly subscription, they usually cancel after the first shipment. When they call, Jeff Lake's call center trains his staff to do everything they can to try and keep the customer. by the 2nd or 3rd shipment 99% of customers have canceld and he's on to the next sucker. I've told many people about this business model and they can't belive someone would stoop that low, but that's the kind of guy Jeff is I guess. He can come on here and say that he's just a 3rd party call center, but, that's not the whole truth. I remember one day the sherrif came by because unhappy customers were calling the police out Jeff Lake's business operation. That's pretty crazy. Anyway, he was doing business as Arizona Neutraceutical but got such bad reviews on the BBB they he switched names. One of his products, DermaPure was getting such a bad rap online that he switched it to L'mage or something like that. He was still shipping HCG to customers even after the FDA said that users needed a perscription ( http://www.fda.gov/ForConsumers/ConsumerUpdates/ucm281333.htm ). The list goes on guys. To me it's sad that a guy as smart and driven as Jeff is would stoop to such low ethics even with his strong "christian" beliefs. If you really want to hurt the company, insead of calling for a refund and talking to one of their trained call center reps, call your bank and request a charge back. Chargebacks are serious dings to his merchant accounts and the banks & financial institutions will close them down if he as to many. No merchan accounts = No Direct Marketing Media.

Fired Employee

POSTED: Friday, September 04, 2015

I know who wrote this bogus report.   This employee failed a drug test and was released due to this being a 2nd failure.   It really bothers me that we loaned this lady money and promoted her to a manager then she writes lies like this.   I can only say look in the mirror the problem with your life is staring at you.

Superior Distribution is based in Mesa Arizona.  I do not own this business and do not use them for services.   Ripoff Report  you should be ashamed of yourself for posting falsehoods.

#3 UPDATE EX-employee responds

OP incorrect - from ex-employee of DMM

AUTHOR: Jenna - (USA)

POSTED: Friday, June 26, 2015

So, I read all these before taking a job at DMM. That was back in January. I worked for Jeff and sold similar products, but this report is quite inaccurate. We had people call back in and they do have customer service. I never had a complaint. Not one. To be fair, I'm not certain what this individual is talking about. We didn't bill monthly and we didn't offer anything for just S&H. We offered people a product at a reduced cost. It was still at least $79.99. As far as the products themselves, it's clear from the company name that Mr. Lakes sells....third party. He's in no way reaponsible for the products, simply selling them and correctly describing said product. We had extensive training to sell, and we weren't encouraged to lie or misrepresent anything. I am actually going to work for the company again as I've been invited back, but I encourage consumers to research everything about the company and products. Selling is a hard business and I believe emotions for in the way of an accurate report in this case.

#2 UPDATE EX-employee responds

Stand Corrected

AUTHOR: LorenaC - ()

POSTED: Friday, August 02, 2013

I am an Ex-employee of this company, Direct Media Marketing. I had an issue with some of their office politics so I resigned. So I really have nothing to gain from writing this rebuttal. I read the original report and found it to be so completely untrue I had to at least correct the misinformation in the report.

The customer service number does not go to voice mail, Unless it is after hours!!  During regular business hours it go to the Customer Service Department.. Yes,, there is an entire department dedicated to answering all incoming customer service calls. Why would that be if the Phone number is supposedly unmanned and auto-directed to voice mail?

The company name and contact information is plainly printed on all products, and literature. The address and other contact numbers are listed with company profile sites and are easily found with a simple Google search. If the company was trying to hide how is it that the stores that buy $1000's worth of product are contacting them for their re-orders?

In the Report the "Anonymous" person who filed this complaint went on to say "this man has been scamming people out of their hard earned money for years". (referring to Jeff Lakes-Owner) Yet, "Anonymous" forgot to include any actual examples to support this statement.

Then,, "Anonymous" Writes, "This is a shame because as far as the products go they seem to be ok"  This is the first sentence was actually pretty accurate. They actually have some of the best supplements on the market. They beat out all competitors when compared label to label. It is not too often that you see a positive review of products in a complaint.

So, according to this "Anonymous" The products are good, they have a recording of the sales call that contains the auto-ship disclosure, and the disclosure is actually on the website. How exactly is this company a ripoff? All business's put the disclosures in small print. Some are found only by clicking a link that goes to a legal disclaimer page. So if you say its actually on the site I do not think that is unusual or shady in any way. Haven't you ever heard the phrase "Always read the fine print!" This complaint also says customers are prompted to check a box that they agree to the T&C- Terms and Conditions. This is a required step, that forces the customer to acknowledge the T&C's. The credit card companies do not get involved simply because the transactions are completely legit and the disclosures were properly acknowledged.

I may have chosen not work for this company anymore but I enjoyed pointing out all of the unsupported statements, obvious contradictions and misinformation in this amusing report. I might have my own opinion about this company, but I can honestly say, they are legit and their products are great. People should start paying attention to things they are agreeing to and stop filing unsupported complaints filled with inaccuracies.

    Have a Great day!-Lorena

I am Jeff Lakes the owner of Direct Marketing Media an Arizona Based company.  We operate a call center and customer service department that serves as a third party service provider for many companies and brands.   Direct Marketing Media has no ownership in any brand or distribution company.   We believe that this report was filed by a former employee who was terminated for illegal drug use.

Our company refunds thousands of dollars per day on behalf of our clients and we are proud of the service provided.   Our facility is a safe, clean and friendly place to work.  Anyone reading this should know that the person who filed this report failed two drug tests.  We give our employees a chance to clean up their behavior before the second test but if they fail then we have no choice but to terminate employment.    I am available for comments between the hours of 8am-5pm pacific.
