Actually if your a person who can sell anything to anyone you can make a lot of money with this company. They do not pay for anything, you need to send them $399 just to start, and pay for your own business cards and other expenses including sign up sheets and flash lights that you are supposed to use to help you close sales. First step you get a phone interview and get hired on the condition you send them $399 overnight. Than you start a Corny scripted sales process training, that while some of the selling points are good most of the script is embarrassing at best. The second week a trainer comes in for a day and makes some sales calls with you, you drive and use you own gas and vehicle, any sales commissions go to the trainer however you have the rest of the week to match what he sold and get double commission (65%) is not a bad deal. The whole sales training process is tailored for you to sell but you get absolutely no product knowledge so basically you are going in sales call blind as to what it is you are selling. However you soon learn that 90% of your sales consist of the same bulbs. Trainer come in regularly if you are selling. The product is good and it seems that all the claims you make about what you are selling are true. Weeks that you do not have a trainer in you at 34% commission on your sales, this is the highest commission I have ever seen.

 

The problem with this company is that the whole sales process is designed to steal small amounts of money from buyers in building maintenance departments using light bulbs to cover it up. This is how it works, you cold call small buildings and ask to speak to the building mainence manager, than you qualify him or her to determine if they are authorised to make a final decision about buying light bulbs, you demonstrate the quality of your product and ask them to make a small purchase. You are trained to make sales between $200 to $500 dollars. Anything else will alert upper management that someone in their company just paid $38.87 for light bulbs they could of got somewhere else for $1.50. Your trainers tell you stories about people being fired for buying from Superior lamp that is why it is important to keep sales orders small and not to call back customers in a long time. These products are ridiculously over priced and no one in their right mind will ever place a big order with you and not get in trouble, but you maybe able to persuade them into replacing the bulbs in a small warehouse or office, and none will notice a little money missing from the tilt.

 

So if you are a reputable person with a certain level of integrity and you care about your reputation in you community steer away from Superior lamp!!!
