Superior Lamp INC. Promised My Own Territory, recruiting NEW Recruits in MY AREA in 2 WEEKS!! Mt. Laurel New Jersey

As far as I'm concerned this "Company" is a rip-off. They promise you your own sales area and then renege immediately. I started "my training" in a conference call with the other "new reps" and participated in daily "script reading and role playing" of their sales pitch. Name gathering (cold calling) for prospective sales calls finished out the week. Week 2 is a 1 day, one on one training session with a trainer in which he gets the commission if anything is sold. The rest of the week is more name gathering, cold calling and hoping to get your foot in the door for the "presentation" of their "Superior Lamps".

In the beginning of week 3, my wife happened to be on the CareerFinder website. The very 1ST listing was for,.....you guessed it,..Superior Lamps!!!!!! Advertising for sales in MY AREA.!!!!!! So much for their 'Promises'. I was promised that I had exclusive rights to work in the town I reside.!!!!!

Now, I'm not saying that their products are bad. But when a company replaces 270 48" T8 bulbs in 1 year and it costs them $270.00, why on earth would they spend over $5000.00 to do the same thing.? (real story) And they also expressed to me that they were planning on replacing all of their metal halides in the production facility to 4 light T5 fixtures. Our cost, with bulbs, about $350.00. Same fixture w/bulbs and SAME WARRANTY--on the internet, $120.00. Please.

Their "training" is a joke and their products are totally overpriced. I'm writing the whole experience off as a learning experience and moving on. Don't waste your time.
