I saw a SuperLifts display at the 2009 Back to the 50's show at the state fairgrounds in St. Paul.  I contacted Tony at SuperLifts after the show and worked out a "special" price on a 4 post lift with accessories.  He indicated that it would take about 5 weeks for them to deliver the lift as business was good and they were that far behind on orders.

I decided to place the order and gave them half down with the remainder due when the lift is shipped.  I waited about 2 months and sent an email to the company to check on the status.  After a couple days of no response I called their phone number and reached a recording where I left my name and number.  After waiting several more days without a response I called again and spoke with someone who indicated that due to some internal thefts and a bad economy, they were forced to lay off all the employees.  He indicated that they still intended to honor all orders that were placed (yeah, right).  I asked if I could cancel my order and was told that it would be an extremely long time before I would receive my refund.  He suggested that I contact my credit card company and file a claim with them due to "the companies inability to deliver the merchandise in a timely manner", and wished me good luck.

I took the person's advice and have filed a claim with my credit card company to attempt to retrieve my deposit.  I can only suggest that anyone considering purchasing something from this company take into consideration what others have experienced and due some research with the Missouri Better Business Bureau as it sounds like this is a common theme.
