In one week Supershuttle all of the sudden raised their fares $11 each way, for a $22 increase from the week before. I am a frequent customer of Supershuttle and consistently Dallas has had some of the higher fares. I consider it price gouging, although they claim it's a fuel surcharge. On top of that the overall expectation is in addition to a $48 one way fare that you are going to tip 18%.
There needs to be some serious regulation of the shuttle industry in Dallas, they certainly have lost my business as I find this to be predatory against the flying public.
Additionally, they say they will put you on a van to your destination and your fellow passengers will be going in the same direction. On my last two trips home I've consistently been on their shuttles for more than two hours. Many of the drop offs have been no where near my direction.
