I received a phone call one day from Ronnie Burke claiming that my CFO (she knew his name) had told her to call me. She claimed they were a local company and they had to close shop and move out of state and they were liquidating their warehouse and anything we could purchase would really help them out. She started mentioning items we use but stated they were selling them in "Grosses". I questioned her for over an hour making sure that the prices she was quoting were correct, .99 for a 12/pack of Postits, .69 for a box of pens. Also free shipping.

I ordered several things making sure that the prices were lower than what I was normally paying at Staples and totalling about $390. I thought it was a good deal. She thanked me, blah blah blah, I'll through in a palm pilot for you, blah blah blah, if you're ever in Gulfport stop by, and I'll even reserve these prices for the next year so if you need to reorder you'll get the same price.
About a week and a half later I started receiving boxes. I received 3 total with all the stuff I ordered. The boxes were shipped from Gulfport (not locally from California as she had claimed) and only the last box contained a packing slip (but with no prices) but it all looked like what I ordered.

A month later I received an invoice for... $4,923.05. They were billing me .99 per pad for a 12/pack of postits. .69 PER PEN for a box of pens, etc. OK. I'm pissed. Cuz I'm a smart woman. There was no ambiguity between what I was quoted in my mind. I called the number on the invoice, which I got a voicemail. I left a message. No call back. Left another message the next day. No call back.

Finally on the 3rd day I got a call back from Mary Stone. I advised her that this bill is much higher than I anticipated. Without even asking what I thought it would be or anything she just says "Well, you know, Ronnie's brother has luekemia and has taken a turn for the worse and she's not sure if she will open the business back up so how about we cut the invoice in half?" Just like that. I said, Uh, no. "OK, how about $1200?"

OK, I know that if this invoice can go from $5000, to $2500 to $1200 in 3 breaths, this is a shady place. I advised that no, I expected an invoice for more likd $400 and she said well I can't accept that. I said then I need to send this stuff back. She said ok and hung up.
After that I looked on here and found another post about Supply Connectiona and Tricor, and TP and how many other people go the same crap. Now I'm REALLY PISSED. I shouldn't have to pay to send this back and I also should be able to pay what I was quoted. I called back (you always get voicemail) and left a message that I wanted their fax # to fax them the PO I had generated for this w/the prices I was quoted along with the prices I pay at Staples . I of course had to request this several times before I got another call from Joanne Miller who advised that their fax machine is not really working but I can try and she gave me a #. I faxed the PO. Joanne called me the next day and said she didn't receive it. I know it went because I got confirmation. I sent it again.

I then received a call from Gary wanting to settle the amount. I told him we could settle it for $390.60 for the amount I was quoted. He said $900. I said $390.60 and our conversation got quite heated and I said mail me labels and boxes and I'll send the crap back. He said OK.
I then received another call from Joanne Miller who said she was sorry, that she should have called me back herself. I told here this company is obviously scamming people and how could she sleep at night that people could lose their jobs over stuff like this. She said she does care that is why she called back and that she would honor the $390.60. She faxed me a letter saying they would discount the invoice to $390 due to the "misunderstanding" that Ronnie Burke and I had on the phone. By the way, the fax did not come from Gulfport but from Coral Springs, FL (Search on Tricor Systems and TP Supply).

Company is a huge scam. Avoid at all costs. I will not make the same mistake again!!
