We scheduled an appointment with Supreme Moving systems two weeks before our move date which WAS to be Saturday February 17, 2007 at 12:00. A man named Douglas came to our apartment, gave a fair estimate and said we were all set.

On the actual moving day, at 12:15 we had called to see if the movers were coming and at what time we could expect them since we needed to reserve the elevator in our building. The man at the desk said we should expect the movers in 45 minutes. An hour later, when no one showed up, we called again and were told 'they were on their way' and that 'things happen', so no need to worry. We were fine with that until around 2'o clock , no one had shown up. We tried to contact Douglas who had come for the estimate, he told us the truck had broken down and that they should have told us sooner not two hours later. Still, we were patient enough to wait another hour for a new truck and movers to arrive. Three o clock, in the afternoon, still nothing. Elevator reserved since we were told they are 'on their way'. We were by this time, angry and also inconveniencing our entire building. Four o clock, still nothing, the man at the desk named Rene told me to 'calm down' and when asked if this was a legitimate moving company, said ' dont get wise with me ma'am'. I think after four hours, and an apartment filled with boxes, I was CALM enough. To make a long story short, and many angry phone calls later, no one had shown up at 5 o clock that day. We asked to speak to the 'boss', his name was David and when we finally managed to get his number, spoke to him and he again told us to 'calm our voices down' and he would be there in a half hour. Needless to say, 5:30 no movers in sight and we had to cancel since our elevator could only be reserved until 6 o clock, our super had been waiting all day with us. When we last spoke wth David, he was indiffernet and rude, when we asked if we would get our deposit back he siad , NO, and then 'I dont know', didnt speak English clearly and started calling my husband names. We are planning to take this ridiculous company to small claims court not just for the deposit they OWE us but for time wasted and inconvenience caused.

Please do not use this company unless you are OK with paying a 10% deposit for waiting for no one to show up at your door.

Cancelled Move

We scheduled Ms for the move date of 2/17/07
between the hours 12-2 pm(we never give exact time).The customer is right we where late because the truck had broken down.We did call the customer and try to explain the situation .The customer start cursing me(David)and my mother and my nationality.I arrange for him a different crow, when they where on the way Mr. raza call me all kind of names that I can't put on the paper and he cancel the move.also we did try to call him and give him the deposit of $40 but he never picked up the phone.
