Sureway Beneficial Possibly ripped off? $249.00 was deducted from acct. on 4/4/05. Have been trying to contact Sureway for 5 dys. Just found out about ripoff scam on the internet today. Called my bank and called the third party bank for Sureway. I will be curious for the next 5 days about my promised credit card, but will not be surprised if I get nothing. Shocked at the ripoff reports. Beware! I will update soon.

Received a call from a Mary (nice lady) with Sureway Beneficial on 4/4/05, who assured me that I was pre-approved for a $2000.00 credit card. Mary indicated that I was required to pay a one time processing fee of $249 in order for me to receive my card which would come in the mail within the next 25 days.

Funds were deducted from my account immediately as Mary's co-worker in the verification department then came on the line and told me that my card would be on it's way and left me with a confirmation code and the 800# to contact Sureway which has been next to impossible to receive a live person.

Since I had been w/o my computer initially and had been unsuccessful in getting a live person at Sureway, I was desperate to see what came up on the internet just today 4/25/05? I was outraged at the thought of becoming a victim. I immediately contacted my bank and made them aware of it and also contacted Sureway Beneficials third party processing company who will began looking into this too.

I've never been a part of any scam and Sureway better be putting out what they said they would or can prepare for the DOGS! I'm giving them until the end of this week, 4/30/05 Saturday. Since I never win anything, I'm certainly not in favor of giving anything away!
