10/24/2007 responded to an E-mail ad for free $500 gift card from Walmart.
Follwed all the steps indicated and ultimately subscribed to the required number of offers in order to qualify for the free gift card. (which was two)

Online banking accounts shows the charges for subscribing to the two offers
on 10/24/07. I have received the poducts ordered and subsequently returned them within the "Free Trial" period. One company only required me to pay $4.95 shipping fee and $1.00 "handling" fee. Used my "Visa" Card for
these charges.

Got no refund from them. Other company was the same but indicated that I had checked or did not "uncheck" the box which ordered another $45.85 in products. My account was charged on 10-24-2007 for the $45.85. This company stated that if I woud send the products back "unopened" to the address on the invoice, that they would credit my account for the $45.85.

To this date, 11/12/07, they have not done it and claim that they did not receive the products back. I sent it by first class mail from the postoffice and did not send it "registered mail, return receipt requested". I do have a receipt for the money I spent as I had to use my bank debit card to pay.

What do I do now?
