Suzanne Hargett Windows & More Stole Money that was to be paid to contractors, extremely difficult to deal with and poor work - SUZANNE HARGETT COST ME THOUSANDS Tyler Texas

I would not recommend Suzanne Hargett to my worst enemy. Not only is Suzanne Hargett  the most difficult person I have ever worked with but she also did not pay subcontractors on my job. I wanted to spend approximately 30k on my project. I ended up giving Ms. Hargett approximately 50k being told that she had to put so much down for the flooring, etc. One week before the project was complete, I learned Suzanne Hargett had not paid the flooring company or other vendors what she represented to me that she had paid. I instructed to immediately pay the flooring company that day 20k of my money she had and she refused. I asked her to immediately leave my property and she refused.  I had to call the police to get Suzanne Hargett off my property.  When the police arrived at my home, Suzanne Hargett had stuffed her car full of property from my home.  The police told her she had to take the property out of her car or they were going to have to arrest her.  I fired her and ended up paying over 50k to contractors to finish the home.  (most of this money was to subcontractors that Suzanne Hargett should have paid with money I had given her.)

The work she did so was substandard. I had to have my house repainted after I hired her.  Given the money I spent, you would think Suzanne Hargett would use wood for the baseboard as I had instructed. Instead, she used a cheap pressed wood. She then ordered very expensive wood for the cabinets and painted half telling me the price for stained wood and wood you use to paint is the same - which is not true.

Suzanne Hargett was clearly not experienced enough to handle a remoldeling job.  Her inexperience and dishonesty cost me thousands.  I do not want anyone else to go what I went through.  

Some, but not all of the problems I faced were:

I extended my backyard fence and wanted a 6 foot fence. The fence Suzanne Hargett put in on one side is not even 5'8". The master bath sinks are not lined up in the master bath. She ordered the wrong bathtub, so I am not able to have a shower in the bath even though she took money from me to pay a plumber to put in a shower. (meaning, I paid to have the piping installed for shower but cannot have shower because she ordered the wrong tub).  The ultility sink is not even, I had to get several of the cabinets restained because the men (only one spoke english) she hired to paint did a horrible job.

The subcontractors she hired did not respect her and did shoddy work and took much longer than the contractors who replaced her contractors.  

I could go on and on as to her errors. Basically, Suzanne Hargett is a nightmare to deal with and cost me a fortune. I would use anyone other than Suzanne Hargett.  I cannot tell you the sense of peace I had when I fired her and she was out of my life and out of my home.  

Final note, one of the vendors Suzanne Hargett recommended told me to check Suzanne Hargett's (Suzanne is her middle name) criminal history. I did and found a theft related charge. It was old but not surprising as Suzanne Hargett kept thousands of money I gave her to give to subcontractors.

Suzanne Hargett's favorite response to me when I questioned anything she did was "trust me". Well I do not trust Suzanne Hargett and you should not either.
