S&W FENCE THINK THWICE BEFORE LETTING THEM INSTALL A FENCE FOR YOU OMAHA,LINCOLN, Nebraska

In May of 2010 I contacted S&W Fence from Omaha to get a bid on installing a combination of chain-link and wood privacy fence at my house.  Well, from the get-go, things went from bad to worse.  I ended up having to call them twice to get a rep out to give us the estimate.  Well, after finally giving us an estimate, we contracted them to put in a fence.  After 3 weeks and after paying them a $1200 deposit, they finally showed up.  A crew dug the holes and set the posts, and the finished within about 2 hours.  Here is where it gets bad.  My wife gets a phone call at work from the neighbor stating that the contractor left the hose running next to our house for approximately 5 hours, and water was just running down our hill in the yard.  They shut off the outside faucet, and when I got off work, I went to my basement and had a big surprise.  Water had run throughout my basement, and we had extensive water damage.  Well, needless to say, after I inspected the basement, I called the salesman from S&W Fence and he assured me they would fix our damage.  Well, several weeks later, an adjustor finally came to inspect the damage.  In the mean time, S&W finally finished installing the fence.  Much to our surprise, they did not make sure the fence was "tight" at the bottom, and our miniature doxie pups ran right under it.  We called them, and they sent out a crew to "adjust" the fence. 

Well, we fought with S&W Fence insurance carrier to get our basement repaired($16000) and finally after 90 days, we could move back into our living area.  But that is not the end of the story.  About 4 weeks ago, my wife was shocked when she let our pups out that they both were out wandering in traffic.  The fence was NOT repaired correctly, and they have no intention on fixing it.  Then, they had the audacity to have an attorney send us a threatening letter for the balance owed on shoddy construction of a fence.  They have very bad customer service, and their quality of work is worse.  Stay clear of this company because they will disappoint you.
