WedrovetoWisc. to look at a W900 Kenworth Swat had for sale. It was in there shop being worked on. Dan said they would put four new drive tires on it, fix the door, that  they broke repoing the truck. I questioned the condition of the king pins Dan said they would reinspect them, and a new wye pipe on the exaust. I told him not worry about switching te alminum wheels to the outside, as I had 4 at the shop we would put on later. I said we didn,t want the bunk, he said he would remove it, fill the back of the cab in,paint it, and put carpet on the inside.  

Webid him 13,500, but would go home so we could check measurements for the dump box, and call him the next morning. WE  called and confermed the tires, fix the door, check the king pins, and a new wye pipe on the exaust, said we would take it.  Swat faxed us a purchase agreement,which said as is,no problem we had Dan's word the truck would be fixed. 

I called him the next morning, and asked if they had a used seat they could stick on the drivers side, the one in the truck was junk. Dan said no problem he thought he had one.

They  delivered the truck 2 days later, almost at dark. The door was not fixed, no new tires, the wye pipe was 2 band clamps over the hole. the truck was in there shop getting lights and air leaks fixed. It wouldn,t build enought air to air up the air ride so we could get it off the truck. I ended up useing our endloader to pick it up and carrying it off.

I called Dan the next morning, he said that the truckwasgoing by, and the parts were on order, but they got the wrong peice for the door, he would ship them, and the tires, and the seat wasn't good so he would look some more.

Called the next week after checking the king pins, the  wheel clunked when we jaked it up'about a half inch of wheel movement.  Was told everyone gone till after New Year, but if Dan told you they were good order some and we willpay for them, have Kenworth fax us the bill, it was said to do  the same with the door parts, and the wye pipe andthe tires would be on the next truckgoing our way.

I called Dan twice in the next two weeks, was told he is outside,out of town, would call back, nothing.

Mom called the next week, was told I have the checks on my desk, am going to mail them today. She said are you, or is  it like when Tom called. She was told if youare going to be a a*s, I,ll just not mail them. Well he wasn, kidding no money.

 We put about 500 in the door, because they threw all the small parts and screws away,500 for kingpins,140 for a wye pipe,  and out four tires 1200 plus. not to mention the labor. 

 They said they drove the truck up from Texas, the seal on the input for the back rearend was compltely rusted out, all that was there was the rubber, and a littleof the out shell. If it had been drove that fer it would have run out of oil. It had half of a ggallon of water, andshort 2 gallon of oil.  Makes me think the so called enginr work in the last two years, Dan said they had cat look up the head number andverified that, more stories?
