I recieved a Certificate Of Award for 400 dollars to be used toward the purchase of one of 5 items listed on the certificate.
I choose the stereo system, reference retail $579.95. The $400.00 to be applied toward that amount and I was to pay ONLY $179.95 by personal check, money order MasterCard, Visa or the Discover Card.
I choose to send them a check of the balance owing which was $179.95 on April 12, 2003. Today May 5,2003 it came by UPS. I was out and they only left the speakers here and told my granddaughter they will bring back the rest of the stereo the next day 5-6-03 and I owe the sender a C.O.D amount of $61.08. In order to get the other part of my stero I have to pay them more money.
I am very disappointed with the little tiny speakers in the box. The pictures of the stereo are very deceiving. I plan to send it all back when the UPS person comes back for more money. I will let you know the outcome regarding this matter.

This is an update from the letter I wrote on 5-6-03 about an amount I did not owe the company. Today they reponed with an e-mail regarding the money. On the check i recieved from them as a winner of $400.00 in fine print in states Merchandise will be shipped promptly, plus shipping and handling. In their e-mail to me they will ship me the other half of the stereo and charge me half on c.o.d of $30.54. i am undecided yet because i still have a 30 day garantee. at that time i will see if the merchandise is for real or cheep. thanks, will update later.
