My name is Herman and me and my wife Catherina, heard about this, too good to be true offer, of making baby bibs for $525-00 a week for a set of 75. In South African Rands this comes to R3150-00, which, for us, is quite a lot of money.

My wife stopped working due to bad health and this would have helped to make ends meet with me working full-time as it is. We even phoned her from South Africa trying to get her bank details so that we can do a telegraphic transfer which is faster and safer, hoping that we would get the materials quicker so that we can start. In the end after having heard nothing from her we sent a bank guaranteed cheque, made out to Sweet Peas to the value of $38-95, hoping to get the pattern and product to start with this very lucrative business. This was a week ago on the 24th of March 2005.

Tonight the 2nd of April 2005, whilst surfing the internet I came across your website detailing the scam that people have been subjected to with the same company, owned by Gina Straw. It sent shivers down our spines reading about other people also caught with the same trick! We will be trying tomorrow to cancel the cheque before she can cash it and get away with our hard earned money.

What worries me is how can such a person continue to operate freely in a country like the USA without anyone doing anything about it? It also seems to be going on for some years now without any results, why?

I would like someone in the USA to please contact me via e-mail so that we can get some feedback on what's happening with this case. People like this should be stopped and made an example of for the whole world to see and take note.
