Swiffer WetJet advertises to "dissolve tough greasy dirt"!
It has been on the market for some time, however I used it today for the 1st time! It was terrible!
Says, among othe things, " dissolves tough greasy dirt, dries fast with virtually no streaks or hazing" Ceramic tile floor was certainly "streaked and hazy" and it certainly did not clean or pick up anything (more than using water would do!)
Ingredients stated: "Contains cleaning agents ( I wonder which ones?), perfume(making the entire house smell like disinfectant!) and water" (also wonder where the lavender color comes from??-cleaning agent?)
This report is not really a "rip-off"-----just a WARNING!!!!!
DO NOT EVER USE THIS CLEANING TOOL! unless you are aware that it does MUCH less than it says it will!!

Not a good product for some floors.

I tried the Swiffer wet jet when I lived in East Aurora and was very disappointed. My kitchen had a "no wax" shiney linoleum floor and the swiffer actually left the floor dull and streaky. After using the Swiffer Wet Jet, I had to rinse the floor with a regular mop and clear water to remove the haze and streaks. I finally tossed the Swiffer wet jet in the dumpster.
My wife (recently married) tried the Swiffer Wet Jet in her home when it first came to market, and it did the same thing to her kitchen floor. She tossed her Swiffer in the trash as well.
IMO it's not a good product and I'm actually surprised that they are still selling them.

This report really surprised me because I have had my Wet Jet system for almost a year and use it several times a week on my tile floors. It has never streaked and leaves my floors clean enough to eat off of. Maybe you should write the company for user help rather than make a report such as you have here. I would highly recommend the Swiffer Wet Jet!

It has never streaked and leaves my floors clean enough to eat off of. Maybe you should write the company for user help rather than make a report such as you have here.
