This is what happens when you get signed up to trucking school in phoenix swift academy. Your recruiter will bs and lie to you. Will tell you, you can start this week and when you arrive they dont know who the fukc you are. 

When you get there, they immediately demand all sorts of bs info from you because they know you are probably going to drop out and they are gonna pursue you relentlessly for their money.

If you dont pass the exam on the first wednesday after arriving, they give you this bs story they can't continue to train you on their private property until you pass the state exam.

Your recruiter will not tell you what you need to be studying before you arrive to take the state test so expect to fail and your 2 week course turns into 3 weeks while your sitting on your a*s in a hotel with a buncha homeless people.

When you enter your truck training the second week, the horse jockey midget who is in charge will case you out and determine who he gets to screw around with and treat like dirt. Oh and don't use his name. it pisses him off. his name is "howard" apparently he has mommy issues.

The instructors are hostile towards the students and don't like their jobs. If you report a concern to the management, the instructor will hold a class session under rather hostile terms insisting that he has been driving forever and knows how to teach. In other words, retaliation.

You pay 25 dollars for a sealed envelope for the state examiner to sign. They do not give this back to you when you leave, and DEMAND that you give it to them

Their contract is designed so that it is easy to terminate you from the program and then expect you to pay them thousands for the course. Basically this is a predatory program designed for them to get leans placed against you.

Howard tells the students that you are not paying for the course therefore he can treat you like shi7 all he wants to. he has nothing better to do than screw with people and yell at them and disrespect the students who are in fact responsible for paying his hourly wage.

They intentionally will let you screw up so they can write you up and kick you out of the program. It is not uncommon for an instructor to tell you "its common sense" in response to a question on how to operate a truck.

Pretty much the school is designed to weed out people with self respect and brains. If your a b*tch then you will fit in at this company just fine, because once your on the road, they will have no doubt that they have an employee who will happily grab their ankles and do whatever the company tells them to do and they will never question their paycheck which is never correct anyway. Just read the other reports about their predatory practices.

Oh and BTW: they do not allow cell phones on the school property at all because an investigative reporter like me captured all their corrupts practices taking advantage of the desperate.

This is a very highly oppressive company to work for. Bottom line. They think you are subordinate to them when you are paying them for a service. They are all work place bullies. If you attend this school and you happen to have self respect, just lay low so they don't target you. Get your CDL and Get the Fukc out.
