SWIM KING CORNER LIES ABOUT DELIVER DATES, DOES NOT DELIVER POOL AND DOES NOT RETURN CALLS KINGSTON NEW YORK

DO NOT ORDER A POOL FROM THIS COMPANY. I ORDERED A 18' ABOVE GROUND POOL IN MARCH, 2004. I PUT DOWN A 30% DEPOSIT FOR A POOL TO BE INSTALLED "MID-JUNE". SINCE THE BEGINNING OF JUNE I HAVE CONTACTED THE COMPANY IN REGARDS TO INSTALLATION DATE. IN EARLY JUNE I WAS TOLD THERE WAS A TWO WEEK DELAY, WHICH HAS SINCE PASSED.

I MADE SEVERAL CALLS TO THE OWNER, STEVEN GALDERISI, AND HE HAS NOT RETURNED MY CALLS, SO I HAVE NO IDEA WHERE MY POOL IS OR IF IT WILL BE INSTALLED THIS YEAR. WHEN I CALL THE STORE, THE EMPLOYEES TELL ME ONLY STEVEN CAN ANSWER QUESTIONS ABOUT THE POOL INSTALLATION SCHEDULE.

I WAS TOLD BY SOMEONE, WHO HAS A FRIEND WITH THE SAME PROBLEM, THAT SWIM KING IS WAITING FOR THE PRICE TO GO DOWN AT THE END OF THE SUMMER BEFORE ORDERING POOLS AND I WONT GET MINE UNTIL NEXT YEAR. DO NOT ORDER A POOL FROM THIS COMPANY. A FRIEND WALKED IN THE STORE IN JUNE TO ORDER A POOL AND WAS TOLD IT WOULD BE INSTALLED THE FIRST WEEK IN JULY! THE SALESPERSON WAS SO RUDE AND ARROGANT THAT SHE WALKED OUT AND BOUGHT HER POOL DOWN THE STREET.

OBVIOUSLY THIS COMPANY IS LYING TO CUSTOMERS TO GET THE DOWN PAYMENT, THEN DOES NOT DELIVER THE POOL OR TALK TO CUSTOMERS AFTER RECEIVING THE MONEY!!!

Check out the front page of the Saturday November 25, 2006 issue of the Kingston Daily Freeman. Obviously Swim King is still up to their same tricks with the same tired excuses.

I was very fortunate - I had went to Swim King in February 2004 looking for a pool. I was so turned off by their sales tactics I went to their competitor down the road from them and purchased my pool there.

Although it is true that Bonita Wolven who resides at 47 Wall Street, W. Hurley, NY ordered a pool from my company in March of 2004, it is not true that I did not return her calls and it is not true that my company was waiting for a manufacturer's price reduction at the end of the summer. What is true is that on August 8, 2004, Ms. Wolven's pool was installed by my firm and that the reason for the delay was that the manufacturer backordered some of the parts necessary to complete the job in a timely fashion. My company has since discontinued representing this particular manufacturer's products.

So, to set the record straight, Ms. Wolven signed a Certificate of Completion on August 11, 2004 which certified that the work, equipment and materials, as applied or installed at her premises has been satisfactorily completed.
