Synovate Technoligies Equipment does not work, customer service is abusive, Owner says clients don't look at reviews Santa Ana CA

They were recommended as a cheap alternative for a home security camera and digital doorbell system for a home in Corona del Mar.

They have been nothing but a nightmare. System was installed in October 2017 and finally made to work in May 2018, but it gets better the app that was to work with the doorbell system wasn't complete until June 2018. It worked for 2 weeks and now nothing.

The owner Ricky Willis has been sending downright abusive emails, he came out once and blamed his employees for not hooking up the wires correctly, he's blamed the cell phone for not working. Basically the doorbell rings out front, but does not ring in the house. Not convenient at all. And when asked when he can fix it he stated August 1 (now grant it when he was called it was June 29). 4 weeks to wait to have a system that we paid +$5K for work is really not acceptable.

He told us to go ahead and try to find another company to come out to work on his system. He said (and I quote) "My clientele is direct referral and does not look into internet reviews for their service needs." So if you don't look at reviews, then this wont effect your decision to use this company but if you do, please be careful.
