T-Minus Productions is not a real movie company at all. They don't have a studio or offices or any money. I should have known better since they have a P.O. Box as their address. A friend of mine did a photo shoot for them for a movie that she was told was weeks away from Production. That was about 6 months ago.

Too bad the photo shoot was at someone's condo and was really weird and creepy. Look at their website, looks like it was made by a 10-year old. I was so dumb to believe them. I guess I'm young and stupid compared to these Hollywood wanna-bes just preying upon people's dreams.

I don't want anyone else to make the same mistake I did. Before you meet with them, ask for their Articles of Corporation, ask to visit their Production offices, ask to see a statement of funds for making the movie and I bet you want get anything.

Maybe things have changed but I don't think so. Anyone can have a website and a Facebook Page and make it look like they're somebody big and important. I should have told my friend NOT to respond to an ad on Craigslist that a "movie house" posted.

T-Minus is totally legit!

Darling...
I was there and I must say, you shouldn't be angry with this company because you were sent home. As a model you shouldn't lie regarding your weight and height. Being sent home is your fault, so own it.
I'm confused by your post. You said that your friend did a shoot with them, but then you say you were dumb to believe them? Believe them for what if you didn't actually show up(?), it was your "friend" right?... and what mistake did you make if you didn't show up?
You also said that they only have a PO Box, but the shoot was at a location? And, I'm sorry dear but as a model I will never feel it's my place to ask for proof of funding. Are you really that green? It was a promo shoot, duh.
And "Articles of Incorporation?" Seriously what are you talking about? Get an agent; it's their job to check the legitimacy of a casting. It's also their job to make sure you keep yourself up.
Do yourself a favor and just be honest. Oh, and by the way the shoot was a blast and the photos look killer. Too bad you couldn't stay.
Cheers:)

#2 UPDATE Employee

T-Minus Productions are great people.

AUTHOR: Curtis Koller - (United States of America)

POSTED: Thursday, December 16, 2010

As a producer of the photo shoot, I was appalled when I heard of this blog entry the other day.

I assure you that every level of professionalism and discretion was exercised through out this shoot. I can also assure you that every member of T Minus went above and beyond to make talent comfortable and informed through out the process. My 10+ years of casting experience with Hollywood's largest animation studio and subsequent thorough understanding of how talent should be treated attests to this.

All the make-up artists, stylists, lighting techs, photographer, PA's, etc. had, at the very least, worked with T-Minus in the past. Many were professional friends and family. And many of the talent were existing friends, colleagues, or referred by a friend!

The entire shoot had a great vibe about it, with all of the talent making friends with each other throughout the process. The wrap party BBQ was enjoyed by all who could attend and we still keep in contact with some of the talent to this day.

If this post is indeed from a friend of a model, please contact us so that we can repair this relationship (www.t-minusproductions.com). We expressed several times to all the talent how much we appreciated their hard work. Please allow us to make this right!

That being said, I do not think this post is from a model's friend or a model. The blog is VERY inaccurate.

1 - none of the models were told we were "weeks away from production" or that we had "any money" (I assume the blogger meant financing for the film.) All involved, including talent, were told and emailed that the shoot would be used to create publicity and promotional materials to help gain financing and help in pitches. Talent were given proofs of their photos as payment. This was told to, and agreed to by, all talent before we scheduled the shoot. We were VERY specific in the intended use, union affiliations, payment, etc. The breakdown was posted on professional acting and modeling websites regularly used by nearly every agency in town.

2 - "their website looks like it was made by a 10-year old" (OK - we admit, our website needs a little help. We currently do not have a computer whiz on staff.) BUT, our website wasn't even created until months after the photo shoot had wrapped.

3 - "Hollywood wanna-bes" - Really? Many of T-Minus staff, myself included, are from Geauga County, Ohio. We had Amish neighbors growing up. Seriously, we did. TJ and I were Altar Boys together. We want to make great films. Not be Hollywood. Anyone who knows will attest.

4 - The blogger states "A friend of mine did a photo shoot for them." But, the rest of the blog is written in the model's voice. Interesting.

I do not think this blog was written by a model's friend or a model. I think it was written by a person who briefly worked with T-Minus in the spring of 2010.

Again - if this is a real report, please contact us. We felt that everyone involved in the shoot had a wonderful experience. We'd hate to have rubbed someone the wrong way!

#1 REBUTTAL Owner of company

From T - Minus Productions

AUTHOR: TJ White - (United States of America)

POSTED: Thursday, December 16, 2010
It is a shame Rip-Off Report does not investigate these blog posts to evaluate legitimacy.

T Minus Productions started as as a production company that designed and
produced action sequences for TV, Film, Commercial and Music Videos. We
later moved in developing and producing feature length films. Our first
film was distributed by HBO films. We are currently developing
projects, seeking independent equity financing, and taking meetings with larger production companies, studios and talent agencies.

T Minus Productions LLC. was formed in 2002 and registered in the state of
California. In the past, T Minus Production had offices in Santa Monica and Studio City and is currently looking for space once
production of an upcoming film starts.

As for the photo shoot referred to in the anonymous blog - We had an
established casting director cast a wide net, review hundreds of
submissions and pick 7 to shoot for publicity and promotion purposes.

I have spoken to all the models and none of them had a bad experience with T Minus Productions during or after the
shoot. The shoot had two locations, a condo and a well-known MMA icon's gym. At no time
did T minus's crew or talent ever feel that they were in an unprofessional
environment. In fact, it was quite the opposite. I received many calls from the models thanking us for a wonderful time and
the beautiful photos that they were provided with after the shoot.

We have reason to believe that this post is not from a friend of a model, as it states. Much of the info is not consistent with the information shared with models or remotely accurate.

For any other information please go to www.t-minusproductions.com.
