Tab Bank screwed myself as well as six other brokers out of there commission on the buy out with Stearns. At first was told they were not going to pay but started sending them leads still with faith on my part they would pay. Then they sent me there broker agreement and said they would pay.

Waited till the 15th, there pay day and nothing happened. Called and asked about check and they said they would get back to me. Every time I called after that, I never received a call back. More than a few emails and still nothing back from them. My deal was worth 1.5 million to 3 million and lets not forget the other six brokers they did not pay.

What amazed me the most was Jeff Bell worked for Sterns and then moves over to Tab Bank taking with him the portfolio with him. To me, that is like an insider trading thing. He is now the president of the Tab Bank factoring division and gets paid but yet the brokers that helped build his 50 plus million  he took with him, he screws.

Amazing part is, we as brokers only receive 10%, they would of been better off paying the brokers and still receiving deals from them but now we would not send one deal to them. A very bad business move. My advice, Do not work with any company Jeff Bell works with as president because his word is not worth the paper it is written on.

If you have a large deal and looking for a great place with good pricing, send it over to (((competitor's name redacted))). There pricing is better than TAB and pay the same commission.

sorry, allowing you to give a competitors name would instigate others to just file against their competition, to only come back later to suggest their company, ..plus, if you post a competitors name more than likely they will show up on search engines as a Rip-off! - - your comments on this policy are welcome.
