i worked for this store for over a year. When i found that i had to move out of town i gave them over two months notice. The day of my move was payday and i only recieved half of my check. I spoke to the managment and they assured me that it would be fixed but the people who had to fix it were out of town. I was sent multiple e-mails, made hundreds of calls, left tons of phone messages and even drove back to fort collins three times to try and work the situation out. It is obvious to me that now that i am no longer employed with them they don't see any reason to pay me for my previously worked hours (not like i can quit now). Don't support a company that refuses to pay it's dedicated employees!

#2 REBUTTAL Owner of company
False Report
AUTHOR: Paul - (U.S.A.)

During the 3 years we have been open in Fort Collins, we have never had an issue with missing pay checks or incorrect pay. I would never short or cheat anyone. Anyone who knows me would laugh at the mention of such a complaint.
If this complaint is from the individual I think it is from, then it is not about pay at all. I believe this complaint is about a tax form. This individual quit her job before a move and never gave me a forwarding address. Her tax form (W-2) was returned after the Post Office tried to deliver it to her address of record.
She called with her new address and again it was returned by the post office. I tried a second, and even a third time. Both attempts were returned.
A few months later, her boyfriend called me. He was terribly rude and nasty. He claimed I put forth no effort in the delivery of the form. After some time, I was able to get an email address where I could forward the form. His lame attempt to bully me was flat out stupid. Within 15 minutes I had sent the form and requested a response so I could confirm it was received. I have not heard from either one since then.... no email to confirm or a phone call.
I still have in my posession the returned mail and the email. I would be more than happy to share those with anyone who was interested.
The complaint said that "multiple emails were sent and hundreds of phone calls were placed.... tons of messages.. and car trips were made" Well, that is total BS. By the way, she moved less than 15 miles away so it wasn't much of an effort anyway since most of her friends still live here and she often comes to Fort Collins to paryt. I have never ducked calls or avoided anyone. My reputation is very important to me and I would never do anything un-ethical or questionable. I would not risk my reputation for a $7 an hour employee. At most, a $7 an hour employee would earn about $500 dollars per check. She claimed she was paid half... I would never sell my reputation for $250.
False statements, ugly accusations and total BS. I would even be happy to provide names and numbers of every employee that worked during the period she worked. I sure all would be more than willing to discuss anything about our business.
She failed to mention the cash advances I provided her on a few occasions. Something the vast majority of small business owners would never do for fast food worker. I'm flat out shocked that we would get a complaint, much less about something as silly as this and something that was not even close to true.
