Takemi Select Massage Chairs Still wanting to buy a massage chair after reading all the bad reports? Melbourne Florida

I don't want to take anything away from the reports already written against Takemi Select because they all seem like honest reports from honest people, but I still thought I should post another viewpoint for those who are still seriously considering the purchase of a massage chair from Takemi Select.

I too had read some of the negative reports before I chose to buy the Angel Touch 14000 chair back in January of 2008. I couldn't ignore the extremely low price though, so I decided to investigate the company directly. This was the largest purchase I had made online, so I was naturally skeptical. I sent emails and made a couple phone calls from Utah to Florida. In every case I received courteous, prompt and professional responses. I then studied and asked questions in order to better understand the warranty. It all sounded legitimate although I have to admit the wording and organization of their website was not clear.

To make a long story short, I decided to "pull the trigger" and purchase the chair. Including the free curbside shipping, tax and everything I only ended up paying $2799.95 dollars. It's been an amazing deal. I had bought a chair with half the capability from "Relax the Back" store about 6 months earlier for exactly twice the price.

The chair arrived on the day and time they forecast to me in an amazing shipping box which included several expensive plywood pieces so there was no reasonable way it could be damaged in shipping. I was impressed.

It was easy to take the two main pieces of the chair out of the box and carry downstairs with the help of my wife. The chair assembled easily. I'm an engineer by trade, so I really studied the inner workings of the chair and compared them to those of the other chair I purchased from Relax the Back. Nothing was rinky dink. It actually looked a little better than the other chair.

I seriously spend about an hour a day on my chair. I love it. I'm 6' 4" tall, and yet it senses my taller frame and reaches all the way up to the base of my skull which is really nice.

The MP3 player that comes with the chair is kind of a joke sense we all have iPods these days, but I think the external jade heater is pretty useful. About the only negative thing I can say about the chair is the user manual is poorly written because it was obviously written by someone who speaks English as a second language, but I fully expected that.

Any ways, don't be shy about taking advantage of the extremely low prices from Takemi Select. They are a legitimate company and they sale legitimate chairs. As you can see from most of the other reports, if you do have a problem you just need to talk to someone high enough up at the company to care, and you will get taken care of. I did most of my conversing with "Mike" and "Robert".
