Talent Hunter (talenthunter.com) is guilty of being a Spam producing entity. I have an ad on Craigslist stating that I'm looking for an IT (information technology) position and that's it. Here is the message I received from them. The first time I got this I went to thier "do not contact me" link and they ignored me. I also check the box that I don't want to be contacted by other entities other than companies related to the jobs I'm applying for. I have nothing advertised related to acting or wanting to be an actor or talent extra. This is the second time I've received Spam from them. I've never signed up with them or requested any information from them. I specifically asked not to be contacted by anyone else. Talent Hunter doesn't care if you ask not to be contacted by them. They do it anyway and multiple times.
This what they sent to me.
I noticed your resume online and have decided to contact you regarding a position now available as a movie extra. No experience is necessary, all looks/types are wanted and the pay ranges from $150-$300 per day depending on whether it's part or full time. Casting starts Monday so you will need to register (FREE REGISTRATION) as soon as possible. It will be lots of fun, a great way to make connections in the industry and pays well!
