She goes by several aliases:  Tammy Yoka, Tammy Bop and Tammy Uwanawich.  The last alias appears to exhibit a cockiness that seems designed to brazenly laugh at her marks.   She mainly works the Phoenix, Palm Springs and Los Angeles areas.  She claims she's from India, but she doesn't have the accent to support it.  I am fairly certain she's a gypsy.    She gave, what appeared to me, to be a pretty good psychic reading at first.

This quickly turned to telling me that someone had put a curse on me and that she could help me to remove it.  I was naturally very skeptical, however, what brought me to her was the desperate economic situation I found myself in and I was willing to try anything that might help.     She charged me $400 to remove the curse.   She then made a couple of economic improvement predictions that she said would take place over the next 48 hours.

They were to serve as proof that she removed the curse.  She then told me that since she had removed the curse my energy was now clear but the negativity could always return so I needed to keep a protective pouch with me for the next 12 months.  That way, those negative energies could no longer affect me.     She said she needed something of gold that must be included in the protective pouch.  An ounce of gold was essential because of its protective powers.

She told me that she needed to take it to the monks that she meditates with and have them bless the gold piece for a month, and that when she returned it to me, I should immediately carry it with me for the next year.     She told me to not worry, she was going to return the gold coin and that it was those negative thoughts that were holding me back.  She then spoke of great universal love and the beauty of God.

I just happened to have a gold coin but I did not want to part with it immediately.  I waited to see what happened.  After all, she made some predictions that were supposed to take place over the next 48 hours.  To my surprise those predictions seemed to come true.  I was really impressed.  My income doubled just like she said it would.  Now, I had convinced myself.  I took the risk and I sent her the coin for the blessing.     I never saw the coin or her again.

It has been over a year now.  At first, she gave me multiple excuses as to why the coins return was delayed: her aunt was dying; she was in the hospital; family problems; and travel emergencies.  I asked her to just mail it back to me insured and I would cover all the expenses.  Finally, at the one year anniversary mark of her procuring my gold coin, she told me that her daughter had been killed in a car accident and she had to leave town to handle her estate and no one was at home to mail the coin back to me.

I continued to pester her for the coins return at which she finally replied, I mailed it back to you two months ago.  Didnt you get it?  After that, she never answered another of my calls, nor did she ever return a call.     She repeated this scam with two other friends of mine, who live in different states using different scenarios through phone conversations and through the mail.  From one, she stole $600 and from another, she stole $800 and a gold necklace.   I write this in hopes that others who have been victimized by her will come forward as well.

She ripped me off too!

AUTHOR: Abby - ()

I met this woman, who was going by the alias (Tammy Candy Uwanawich) at the time, around 2005/2006.Similar to your story she gave me a reading and told me that I too needed a cleansing. At first I was skeptical but some of the things she told me were pretty accurate. Worked with her on my cleansing for about a year or more then things got progresively worse. I dont know why I trusted her. Maybe I was just a young naive vulnerable girl and she took adavantage of that.

Anyway long story short, she ripped me off bad. When we ended contact I tried finding her but she had moved. Until recently heard she was back in the palm desert/ palm springs area working in a shop with her mother in law... btw her mol is a "fortune teller too"

You said:  " I never saw the coin or her again.  "

This should be no surprise.  I would have been more surprised if you had received it back.
You realize this was a scam.  The only thing I would add is that I hope you realize that ALL psychics are frauds,  there is no such thing.  You can be certain that whatever appeared to come true would have happened anyway.  It was just a lucky guess, they rely on that happening now and then.  If it hadn't happened, he/she would have had various excuses and would have wanted more money.

They are all the scum of the earth.

Good luck to you.
