The Tangowire.com online dating service is real crooked.
Basically here is what they are doing.

I paid to email a woman on the site and we've been corresponding back & forth.
Tangowire.com has in their system they delete personal messeges out of my Tangowire.com email inbox.

So, what happens is that without those messeges I can't send an email to my friend when I've already paid a fee to email her.

Thats what  their policy is you have to pay to intiate contact with a person that you like.
here is the problem that I have with them.

Tangowire.com does not notify you when your personal emails in their account will be deleted.
I feel that they are ripping off people making you pay twice to email a person when I've already Paid to email the person.  I received two or three replies from a friend I had liked so to keep in touch with her I simply hit reply from a previous messege my friend had sent.

Tangowire uses some unscrupulous methods to get money from their members.

Its True...

I have a membership on a Tangowire.com site also. I have just learned that someone (whom is not a paying member) now has "a limit" to how many emails that they can reply to. When that limit is reached, they are required to pay to reply. This is the case, even though they advertise "Reply for Free" on there cover page.

When I wrote the site with my concerns I was given the "canned reply" as the previous complainant... I replied with the following and never got a response.

Hello again (again),

While I appreciate your detailed analysis and "benefits" as to the "Value" of your site, I still find that you have falsely advertised your "reply for free" benefit. In doing so, you have also led me (a Paid Premium Member) to believe that anyone that I email, will be be able to reply to me "for free". This is obviously NOT the case! This in my opinion is NOT "Online Dating You Can Trust"

Because, I never received a response. I am led to believe that Tangowire.com is putting forth a false image of "free" and in the process is making people pay for it so they can gouge more money out of folks who browse the site.

Clarifying the facts / truth

AUTHOR: Taylor - (USA)

It is important to clear up some factual errors with this report and explain the policy for those interested in the truth.

Unlike most premium dating sites, TangoWire allows ANY member to reply to any email in their inbox completely free of charge.  No strings attached, no credit card number, nothing.

Premium members can initiate unlimited emails.  They can send an email to any member they would like any time they'd like.

The person making this report was a premium member at one point and sent many emails.   She then chose to revert back to a Basic (Free) member and could continue her established conversations by Replying back and forth.

We think this is a very generous policy and one that few, if any, premium sites allow for.  Because of this policy, Free members can be very successful on our site without paying us a single dime.

This member took advantage of this generous policy many times and we were very happy that she did.  Furthermore, as long as she didn't allow more than 30 days to lapse between replies to emails, she could have kept this conversation going indefinitely and complete FREE.  This member acknowledged knowing this fact in advance in her customer service request.

She could have even exchanged private contact information during any of these exchanges and been within our rules.

We are indeed sorry this member believes we are "crooked" [sic].   We have been in business for 10 years this year and work very hard to make all customers happy.    Unfortunately, we were unable to so in this case.

However, we stand by our industry leading and generous policies compared with other premium sites.  We are very proud of our great reputation built over 10 years in business.
