Yes, Tara-Medium IS a scare tactic RIP OFF and I never realized, until I read this report, that this person is, indeed, "Faith" from Certified Psychics. I now write because I wish for people to know that Certified Psychics is nothing but a RIP OFF, too.
I can only explain my own stupidity because I DO believe there are those people- far and few between- who DO possess psychic abilities. I had such a person in my family tree prior to my birth. By all accounts, no prediction given by her to anyone was EVER incorrect. However, there was a major difference between my psychic relative and what you find today. My psychic relative did not charge outrageous fees ($1.25 flat fee, per reading), she did not advertise her services, and she only told you what she saw, end of story. There was none of this tarot card, Reiki Healer, Jungian analyst, etc. CRAP.
I was taken for several thousand dollars by Certified Psychics over the course of approximately 2 years, as not a single statement ever made to me by ANY of their so- called "psychics" has ever came to pass. On that note, needless to say when I attempted to acquire refund of any, if not all, of my monies spent- well, "Blessings in the Light" quickly turned into "Kiss Mine in the Dark".
They are exceptionally excellent in the manner by which they "hook you" and keep you going, but DO NOT fall for it. Trust me on this- this group is about as psychic as you and I are, and that is the GOD's HONEST TRUTH about it.
I reported this website to the BBB, the Internet Crime Complaint Center (IC3), etc. - ALL to no avail.
Noteworthy, I did assist a television production company in London with an upcoming documentary to air on the Discovery Channel about psychic hotlines and this current craze in America- to the point of addiction- in speaking with, and spending SO MUCH MONEY ON, so-called psychics and spell casters, etc. I was told by the producer that this television production company attempted to contact the owner of Certified Psychics several times and, interestingly enough, she refused contact or comment. Well, that pretty much says it all, now doesn't it???
Don't fall for any of it, folks. Keep your hard earned money during these horrendous economic times. I am now one of the many in America who has lost their job through no fault of their own, and what I would not give to have my several thousand dollars back from this TOTAL RIP OFF / TOTAL WASTE OF YOUR MONEY bunch of con artists! I do not imagine the owner of Certified Psychics is wondering how to pay her car payment, or where her next meal is coming from!
These days, life is hard and we are all seeking "answers" and/or "assistance". However, I GUARANTEE that you will NOT find either/or by giving your money to psychics and spell casters you find on the internet. The only answer you will find is how you would not be in this disastrous financial shape had you not previously thrown your hard earned cash OUT OF your PC monitor "window"! :)

If it walks like a duck.......

It's interesting what a little research can reveal!
Certified Psychics and the American Association of Professional Psychics are one in the same! (And YES - the photo of Faith does look just like Tara of Tara-Medium!)
What is most interesting though, is how Susan the Employee has violated items 1 and 5 of the American Association Of Professional Psychics, Inc. Code of Ethics with her posts to this site.
I don't think Susan is "hurt" by the comments. It sounds like she is just peeved that she "drowned her fish", to borrow a con artist term! Her money-maker wised up and saw through her! Friends do not charge you money to talk to them!
The Internet is a wonderful research tool, a great place to network socially, and a valuable avenue for business. It is also a place where people with less noble intentions can take advantage of depressed, lonely and vunerable people.
Do not trust anyone who asks for money to "be your friend"!!

This is what you call "Customer Service"?

It felt good to vent?? This does not seem to be the intent or purpose of this site.
Again, any reputable business would not engage in arguing with a customer, especially in a public forum such as this. Haven't you ever heard of the first rule of customer service? "The customer is always right."
Well, the sad truth is that the customer is not always right, but at the same time, no customer should ever be treated as wrong. Again, you support this customer's complaint by saying if we knew "her" we would understand your position.
From the original complaint, I don't even know if this is a "her", but I do know that you are not behaving professionally.
Based on your own comments as an employee, I would have to say that Certified Psychics and you, Susan, are indeed a RIP OFF!

The Employee Who Made My Point For Me
AUTHOR: Disgusted by it ALL - (USA)
SUBMITTED: Tuesday, January 19, 2010
Oh, this is no longer even worth responding to, as it is more than apparent to all exactly who it is that has a problem here- exactly who it is that can not 'let IT go'- and it certainly is NOT ME.
Whoever this consumer is certainly read and reviewed this document in the correct manner. You made my point for me, and this person saw it for themselves.
If you search the internet, you will find lawsuits now being filed against psychic and spell casting services and consumers ARE finally winning these lawsuits, given the media attention this topic has recently been receiving. (In addition to the Discovery Channel documentary scheduled to air, there is also a great article in a recent edition of Martha Stewarts Body & Soul Magazine- Addicted to Psychics). So, threaten me all you would like.
Enough said. Continue with your blah-blah-blah "colorful commentary" if you so wish. I stand by what I have said, and I could care less if you want to continue with your rants and threats.
YOU have demonstrated the true colors of this service. THANK YOU SO MUCH!

Obviously you did not read this well. I'm not publishing anything. Our Attorney's have it! If someone has a complaint and wants a refund there is never a problem with that. If someone wants to slander our employee's and defraud the company we will fight it. That is why she is on here, no one else will take her complaint seriously and personally I was VERY upset that she would do this. Not surprised, but upset. I guess if you knew her as well as we do you would understand my point. I sincerely apologize if I gave you the wrong impression but I'm so frustrated and needed to vent. I have been holding this in way to long and the opportunity to tell it straight I guess was a bit overwhelming to say the least. hehe, I will admit it felt good to release it!
Thank you for your opinion, it did put me back in check. We all need to be put back in our place occasionally.

Caveat emptor

You know, any professional employee for any reputable business would only have stated I am sorry you were dissatisfied with our services."
However, your rebuttal comments speak volumes regarding the type of employee any consumer will come into contact with if they ever choose to use this service and then find they are dissatisfied with their results. They will be on the receiving end of personal attacks and threats of publishing confidential blogs & emails.
Great way to convince me the person posting the original complaint is wrong!

True Blue as Ever!

Thank you for showing all your vindictiveness in writing. I guess now all can see why you needed us. You continually use your words and spite to create utter havoc in your life and rarely except the blame. I tried to help you, we all did. One by one we refused to read for you until there was no one left. Again, I am truly sorry you lost your job. I know your alone and scared, but as you plainly stated. Only you can help you now. By the way, I have all your emails archived, and your transcripts! Including your apology and your confession. That is why no one will take your reports, we have already proved what you were doing. I think it is time you let it go.

I should also add this fact
AUTHOR: Disgusted by it ALL - (USA)
SUBMITTED: Friday, January 15, 2010
I should also add this fact- I had stopped doing business with Certified Psychics months before I lost my job. I requested a refund- MONTHS BEFORE loss of employment-when I determined for myself that the entire service is nothing more than a bogus scam!!!
I only stated, NOW that I am unemployed, what I would not give to have my several thousand dollars back. It certainly would "help out".
However, lesson learned. I only wrote to prevent others from making the same mistake.
As for the Tara/Faith issue presented by another, well, I can only state one must admit the resemblance IS uncanny.
So, "BLESSINGS IN LOVE & LIGHT"- isn't that what you wonderful, kind hearted souls at Certified Psychics tell everyone- you know, at least UNTIL there is A PROBLEM- like how when someone DISCOVERs how full of it you all really are.

Oh, please get your facts straight
AUTHOR: Disgusted by it ALL - (USA)
SUBMITTED: Friday, January 15, 2010
Oh, please get your facts straight. First, I never stated I was a part time or full time customer for several years. I stated I was a customer for approximately 2 years; period. Secondly, I never stated I "claimed bad service to my credit card holders". I stated I requested a refund for some if not all monies spent from the owner of this company/service for "services not rendered as advertised" and I stand by that request. Over the course of a 2 year period- and several thousand dollars later- one FACTUAL piece of information remains: NOT ONE SINGLE, SOLITARY PREDICTION EVER MADE TO ME BY ANY PSYCHIC EMPLOYED BY THIS SERVICE (or any other psychic 'hotline' service) HAS EVER TURNED OUT TO BE ACCURATE AND/OR TRUE STATEMENT OF FUTURE EVENTS. Therefore I stand by my assertion that this group is about as psychic as I am, and, let's face it- I can follow my own instincts and predict my future for myself- FOR FREE.
Consumers please note: Yes, you will be treated not only as a customer but as a treasured and close friend by Certified Psychics- that is "the hook". At least that is how you will be treated UNTIL there is a problem. Then you will find "friendship and blessings" are OVER. Also, you will not find much in the way of "justice" by filing complaints through normal channels- those federal and state agencies who were created/designed to regulate internet services. Therefore, the best advice I can provide to anyone is simply DO NOT FALL FOR ANY OF IT in the first place.
I can prove the statements I made and I stand by them. Not to mention, I am entitled to my opinion. Needless to say, apparently I am not alone in this opinion, either. The production group in London certainly sees this addictive craze in America and, through their extensive research, concur that psychic hotlines are a hoax and a waste of good hard earned American dollars. So, take your accusations of slander, outrage and heartbreak up with the Discovery Channel.
The rest of the world certainly sees it for what it is and I will say it once again- Don't fall for it, folks.

Certified Psychics Stand Up!
AUTHOR: SUSAN - (United States of America)
SUBMITTED: Friday, January 15, 2010
I am appalled at what I just read. I happen to know Faith personally and her ethics in this field would never allow her to stoop to such a level as this TARA MEDIUM site. If you were to take the time as I did in her behalf, you would know it is not coming from the US to begin with. We would ask for the birth month first not the day. That is a European tradition. Anyone in this field, or anyone that has ever visited a real medium knows they do not need your birth time. Astrologers use your birth time. The Tara Medium site is obviously generating mass predictions with computer generated astrology reports centered around the subject you posted. I mean really, it doesn't take a PSYCHIC to know this supposed world renown medium has nothing better to do then sit at her computer and give free readings all day and night. If you check at the bottom they ask for your email address to share with her partners. That would be to sell you products you don't need or even maybe sell your email address on a list to various companies for advertisement purposes. The key here is that nothing in this world is for free! Which brings me to the second reason I'm here. The "lady" that filed this report. She wasn't a part time customer for several years, she was a regular customer for many years. I'm sorry she lost her job, but it was no reason to SLANDER anyone's reputation or genuine friendship. You can not use a service as long as that and then claim bad service to your credit card company and demand full repayment for all those years because you need the money?? So basically I should work for FREE?? and allow you to abuse my good nature and beg me in email after email to read for you again even after the owner told you, you could use our services again "if" anyone would agree to do it. I was forwarded your complaint, I thought you were my best client, my favorite client, my friend. You should be so ashamed to use a similar picture to take aim at people you scammed and betrayed! I wish you better, even though my heart was broken.

I have personal knowledge that the allegations made here, saying that "Tara Medium" is connected with Certified Psychics, are false.
I have absolute proof regarding the facts of this situation. Faith@certifiedpsychics.com is NOT the same person as "Tara Medium." The "Tara Medium" rip off is not in any way connected with CertifiedPsychics.com.

Disgusted in Georgia must be confused
AUTHOR: Conscious Caller - (United States of America)
SUBMITTED: Tuesday, January 12, 2010
I have been a client of certifiedpsychics.com for many years. All of my dealings with them have exceeded my expectations, from the abilities of the psychics, to the exceptional customer service.
The psychics on the site are in a class by themselves, absolutely professional, and amazingly accurate. I have tried many other psychics over the years, and in my experience, these are the best of the best. You not compare these sincere and dedicated professionals to any other psychic service out there. This is truly the cream of the crop.
I have to think whoever wrote this untrue assault on this excellent company is either very confused, or intentionally trying to harm the reputation of Certified Psychics. Shame on them.
And I know for a fact that this 'Tara Medium" character is not in any way connected with CertifiedPsychics.com. It is preposterous, and again goes back to my statement above, that this obviously angry person is trying to slander the impeccable reputation of certifiedpsychics.com.
Any sensible, intelligent person would never send money to "Tara Medium" which is an obvious scam.
Certifiedpsychics.com is above reproach.
