After three months of being Target REDcard, card holders, we have received only one statement and each attempt at paying the balance automatically has been rejected by the company with no notification given to us either through the mail or through e-mail. As a result of the lack of communication, we have incurred late charges and interest on our balance.

We attempted to access our account information online but our attempts were rejected several times.

After our failed attempts to access our account online we attempted to contact customer service and navigated the automated prompts to finally talk with a customer service representative only to be disconnected twice by the automated system. After a third attempt, contact was made with an actual human to no avail.  The customer service rep was not helpful and made no attempt to resolve the issues regarding our lack of statements or the rejected payments. The representative did not even know what the procedure was to close the account, nor did she make an attempt to find out or even bring someone into the conversation who might know.

People, have problems with target, if its real, it is.

I worked for target for over ten years, what I found was that they can be quick at solving a problem, or never solve someone's problems. The chance is, things can get worse, you can find they never fix them, I know they can when I worked there, like I wrote, they can fix a problem, yet by chance not always.

They can talk about all the things, they plan to do, yet the years go by and only the new stores do it. They can not afford it. They can talk about all the things they do when there is a problem, yet never do it, or refuse to do it.

You have a 50-50 chance of good or bad service there, or having a good job there, or need to leave.

They have cheated workers out of benefits and services, others enjoyed before them:
1. By target policy, no breaks - its work 3-4 hours, as a stocker, answer questions from customers, as expected, then get games, their schemes, presume about working slow. therefore by chance give poor or good service to customers.

2. By target policy, no health or vacations, its only 3 days a week, that is 9 -12 hours, that is less than 20 hours a week, paid every other week, 3 call outs, fired - yet not lawful in some places.

If you by chance get bad service, it can be worse by chance also, as an employee, these cost cutting measure, are designed to make it hard for employees, to do things. They have costs and most likely expect the impossible, insults do fly, when they do not reach their expectations.

If their prices are too good to believe, or promise much, and never deliver, you just discovered what happens by chance. The facts are what they are. Are they willing to explain the problem, by chance, they can say or write nothing, give you good or bad service.

If you tried everything, and their still unreasonable, you have the option of seeing them, as not worth doing business with, drop them, find something better.

If you manage to do good shopping there because of what you find is better service, or a better price, with good service, you have every right to continue shopping there, sometime, some day, you will get bad service, they will by chance, ignore you, avoid you, use excuses, shift  the blame, and yet, what ever is good, or bad is possible, it will happen as it does.

Their not polite sometimes, or can not be courteous about things, they can be overworked or from  another reason : Their more concerned about exciting you and winning your trust than about sending email to explain with enough detail, when they have problems, they encountered, or you encountered with them. Therefore by chance good things can happen or the bad can happen.

If you work there, there is the chance, your treated worse than a customer, when you sign your name to work there, that someone said "as if your bought and paid for" or "as if you broke your word or promise" they expect you to do anything to meet expectations, therefore by chance, did they really care about you, as an employee? Then what as a Customer?

They expect so much from people, who work there, that there is a big chance things can go wrong. People who work there, come and go often, the store has many expectations, and strange policies, therefore, the chance, their expectations are worse or better, with the chance of worse or better service.
