  • Tasha Cunningham Aks Dontdatehimgirl.com www.dontdatehimgirl.com Pennsylvania U.S.A.

Tasha Cunningham Aks Dontdatehimgirl.com I wrote about an abusive relationship-then received threats to remove what I had written. Within 12 hours I contacted the website asking for the post to be removed. It clearly states that a post will be removed if asked and I have requested 27 times to have the post removed. This can potentially cause detrimental damage to me and I informed Tasha Cunningham and the website of this. Pennsylvania

I have contacted Tasha Cunningham regarding a post written on her website dontdatehimgirl.com. I wrote openly about an abusive relationship I was in and within 12 hours requested the post be removed. I have sent 27 e-mails to remove the post including my username and password. Tasha knows that I am concerned for my well being and I asked to remove a post. She refuses and continues to "pretend" she cannot remove it. It states on the website that any post can be removed and I am in fear for my safety and need it removed.

Anytime I try to contact the abuse department of the website my e-mails are bounced back. The only e-mails that go through are the "media" emails and e-mails if a consumer is interested in "purchasing items or advertising" on her website.

I am taking responsibility be retracting my story but Tasha Cunningham and dontdatehimgirl.com needs to be held responsible for any harm that will come to me because they have ignored my requests.

I am quite concerned and hope legal action can be taken against her and the company.

So....

AUTHOR: richard - (USA)

POSTED: Sunday, August 08, 2010

So it is okay for people to have freedom of speech at your site but not here?? I seriously doubt that you will be able to sue this person. OP don't listen to this threat, there is nothing DDHG can do. I see they were quick enough to hop on here but never answer emails at their own site. And yes it is a rip-off when posters are not able to do what is advertised on your site, which is remove a post. That is false advertising. Violating your own policies. Where do you NOT see a rip-off here? And if it is NOT a rip-off what do you have to worry about? Why threaten this woman? Explain how this is not a rip-off! You are running a business, you are not abiding by your own policies or allowing the posters to be protected by them. keep us posted, original poster and do not let DDHG scare you. You are not doing anything libelous, you have a right to your opinion. If what you are doing here is libelous or slanderous then what is going on at DDHG is too....100x over.

Unprofessionalism: Don't Date Him Girl

AUTHOR: youllregretit - (United States of America)

POSTED: Sunday, June 20, 2010

Let me start by saying that I am in no way afraid of any sort of legal retaliation on the part of Don't Date Him Girl.  I can't imagine the sort of lawyers that handle such a company anyway; they must have their hands full day and night.

This website is disgustingly unprofessional.  If you email tech support in regard to something that has been posted about you, whether or not it's true, the one-man show will fail to contact you.  You think that your email will be answered in 3-6 weeks; it will never EVER be answered.

You can remove the posts that you put up, but you can't remove forum posts.  So if someone says something about you, they can't even take it down.

The website is extremely sloppy, in that they collect revenue from their advertisers, but fail to answer emails from those who use the site.  And when is failing to answer emails within FIVE MONTHS a "ripoff"?  It's a ripoff when it makes your website look like a complete and utter scam, when you collect revenue from advertisers and have people come to the site, but get lazy and stop answering emails.

STOP BEING LAZY AND ANSWER YOUR TECH SUPPORT EMAILS.  People's lives are being affected negatively BECAUSE OF YOUR SLOPPY UPKEEP OF YOUR SITE.

An Update??

AUTHOR: Revealer - (USA)

POSTED: Monday, September 07, 2009
Could someone give an undate to this case. Was the original poster ever sued by Dontdatehimgirl?  I had a somewhat similar problem with ddhg, except I never asked (emailed) for the profile to be removed, but somehow my account was 'frozen' and I was no longer able to log-in.

POSTED: Tuesday, April 29, 2008

I am a single woman, with cancer and just free from a bad relationship. I tried to tell a story and now I am unable. dontdatehimgirl.com said they would sue me for libel and slander because I filed my complaint here. I will say that there is no phone number on the website nor is there a phone number listing anywhere to contact someone. I tried for 12 hours to contact someone and sent numerous e-mails. I was unable to remove the post myself so I gave them my person information so they could help me with the situation.

I cannot be sued or threatened anymore. My life is hard enough with regrouping myself and battling cancer.

Please remove my complaint at Rip Off. I cannot take a company threatening me, I truly just wanted to have my post removed from the website. As the administrator said I must have no common sense so they must be right. Please remove the complaint.

Response to rebuttal

POSTED: Tuesday, April 29, 2008

I am responding to the rebuttal. All I ask is to have a post removed by the administrator or postmaster. I sent now at least 50 e-mails asking for this and now I received a threatening letter from dontdatehimgirl.com saying they would take legal action against me because I filed a complaint. All I need is a post taken down on their website site that clearly states "any post can be removed". That is all I ask. I have personal concerns if the post remains on their and stated this. If they website does what they state they will do which is help me with this mistake then I have no problem withdrawing my Ripoff Report. Otherwise I am concerned. Thank you.

Any DontDateHimGirl.com Can Remove Their Own Postings From the Site

AUTHOR: Tasha Cunningham, Dontdatehimgirl.com - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Tuesday, April 29, 2008

Additionally, any DontDateHimGirl.com member can at any time remove or edit any posting they've made to the site. It is a passive site that is controlled by the user who made the post. Yet another reason why this is a BOGUS post!

This is a bogus report

AUTHOR: Tasha Cunningham, Dontdatehimgirl.com - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Tuesday, April 29, 2008

This is a bogus report. We are in the process of finding out who posted this and will take immediate action against the individual who wrote this. We have also contacted the Rip Report site. Since when is removing a post, or not "removing one ripping someone off"?

The person who wrote this has now opened themselves up to litigation for defamation and libel. It's unfortunate that people waste their valuable time this way.
