The issue is very detailed, but many have the same story.

Hired this firm after hearing it advertised on prominent networks. Researched their six year history, BBB rating, etc. No complaints. Hired them in September of 2008. Darren Lee was my sales person. Promised me I would have two tax returns, one for personal and on for my small corporation in 4-6 weeks and then we would begin resolve. The IRS was threatening to levy and that would have caused me to go under. The embarrassment of having my pay attached, etc would have sent me over the edge. Then my case manager called me after I called in after four weeks. he was "sick" and didn't get to my file. No returns started. Called again in two weeks, didn't get my files...lost others. Then he went on "medical leave" and I had a new case manager. Had to start all over because he had left abruptly and she needed to understand my case. I started getting more forceful around Christmas and I would call in once a week for an update and my case manager gave me tons of attitude and said it is a process. That is fine, just fill me in on where we are at or give me a refund and I will go with someone else. We were now in the fourth month. No returns, no calls returned to the IRS. IRS then put a trust on my social security number decreasing my credit score to below 400! Now I am a prisoner, so I call up IRATE because the IRS says their lawyer will not return the call. My case manager won't return phone calls or emails. Even faxes go without. Receptionist will not put me through without my full name and then hangs up when I give it after checking it in the computer. Then I called in and asked to speak to their counsel and went on hold. I called and said I was the Channel 5 local TV affiliate and they put me on hold. They are dispicable people. So then I said I would not ask for a refund for my tax returns if they could please sens them to me as it took 6 months to do them and I was getting an atty. I had them sent to me. What a joke-my four year old child could have prepared them. They were inaccurate and did not reflect my situation. I had to pay $2000 to a local CPA firm to fix them. So, now I am in over $6000 and have nothing started on negotiations, no calls returned, no communication and VERY RUDE reception and case managers. So, I filed a complaint with the CA ATTY GENERAL (you should do the same) and they will begin investigations with a few more complaints. I had to negotiate with the IRS myself after 7 months of holding them off. Guess what, there was no negotiation and I am on a payment plan. I could have used that 4000 initially to hold off the trust on my social and begin a payment plan, but TAX RELIEF ASAP fraudulent told me they could reduce my debt to the IRS by over 50%. I WANT MY MONEY BACK, damages, atty and CPA fees returned. We are banding together (so far there are 7) to file a class action lawsuit against them in Orange County before they file bankruptcy. It is going to happen very soon..be careful. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY, SUE THIS COMPANY.
