Tax Resoultions Services, Co We paid this co a total of $6342.5 to clear up past tax after they recv all the money they clalime that we didn't pay for 2 tax retruns Encino California

My husband and I owed back tax's and wanted to get every thing cleared up we heard advertisment on a radio statation and called Tax Resolution Services, Co made appointmen, met with a R. Brian Compton president, we agreeded to use their service, to work with the IRS for a "Offer in Compromise" we agreed to a flat fee of 5175.00 with a retainer of $500.00 bal of $4675.00 in 10 posted dated checks in the amount of $467.50 dated 30 days apart in Jan 2005 we were victums of ID theft,

we closed the one checking account and opened a new one, we sent replacement checks to Tax Resolution and called them, they told us they would destroy the old checks they did not destroy the checks, i paid $1285.00 on credit card for 2 checks that were sent in on the wrong acct and a $350.00 reinstatement fee, again in July 2005 and Aug 2005 and Sept 2005 they turned in the old checks again to the bank, when i got notice i called Tax Resoultions, and they said oh guess we sent in the incorrect checks i said i was told they were destroyed..guess not, they then cashed the correct acct check in sept 2005 Oct 2205 and OCT 30, 2005.

We moved in Oct 2005 and had forward address i recvd all the advertising from the co but nothing else they had also told me that 2 years of tax returns were not completed i thought they had been done years before. We sent what i had to the co. that was the last we heard until the IRS put a lien on our bank acct,

i called and after many calls i got thur to Kate and she said our acct was canceled because we did not pay for the 2 tax retuns, i thought we had as we had not recvd any bills, calls or anything. i had rec a 0 bal owing from Elaine in accouting via email showing as of Oct 30, 2005 we had a 0 bal due. We did not know we owed anything else.

We had paid a total of $5875.00 and now they are all done with us. they are not going to complete the work we hired them for. We have nothing for the money except 3 years of tax filings that we paid them to do. They calim because we did not pay for the 2years of tax filing they did they can and did cancel our account this is after we paid per our contract. We did not ever receive any invoice or bill for the 2 years we would have paid it.
