Tax Results Took $1250 Over a Year Ago and Has Done Nothing to Resolve the Tax Issue! Clinton Township Michigan

Tax Results is definitely a scam. After paying them $1250 and submitting all of the required forms in July of 2012, nothing has been resolved. It took them six months to send in the lamest Offer In Compromise to the IRS ever, and that was after calling them all the time asking when they were going to do their job. They must have spent 10 minutes on the form and offered the IRS $119 on a substantial debt. Sure, like the IRS is going to negotiate with that. Of course, the IRS refused the offer.

Meanwhile the IRS lien is still on my brother, we cannot refinance his house, and are stuck paying outrageous interest and mortgage payments every month. It is hell. Every month that comes up to pay that mortgage we are scrambling to get every dollar - because he cannot refinance until that IRS lien is brought down!

Tax Results takes your money and then does as little as possible. Like the others have said, they don't return your calls. You get a receptionist who says your tax guy will return your call, and he doesn't.

When the IRS sent them a reply to the OIC Appeal, they didn't even put it in their files. I guess it just got lost. We got the letter also, and they only had a chance to respond (at the last minute) because I called them up asking about it. So, once again, I had to FAX an IRS letter to them that they should have had. They don't even care.

They just keep advertising every half hour on a local radio station, which is very very expensive, and collecting people's money. I will not listen to that radio station any more. It is so incredibly irritating to listen to that commercial.

Their BBB rating is C-, which is probably outdated, and should be F.

LIke their website and commercial promises, I have asked for my money back, but they claim they are still working on it. So therefore they don't feel they have to refund the money. It has been a year and 2 months, with very little done, and done entirely wrong. I have consulted with other firms and they would never treat their customers this way, or proceed in the direction that Tax Results has. I want my money back. We are stressed to the point of sickness. Our health is at stake at this point. This matter needs to be with another tax help company, which is legitimate, honest, hard working, and priced very cheap.
