Hired this company to settle IRS back taxes. Lack of communication throughout the process. We provided all requested info and documentation in a timely manner. We needed to hound them to get any information along the way...until the process/service abruptly stopped and we have no idea what happened or te status of our account! They do not communicate well, sometimes not at all. Our account/claim changed hands several times and was never concluded! Paid them thousands of dollars and still have no conclusion to our case. Broken promises time and again. Very unprofessional. We paid for services not rendered! No longer called Tax Tiger...changed name to Five Stone and they now do not return emails or calls. They had much of our information incorrect on the IRS forms...ridiculously incompetent.

It is unfortunate you were not able to resolve your IRS tax liability with Five Stone. Five Stone Tax is a FORMER Tax Tiger franchise and that relationship was mutually terminated in January of 2015. Under that agreement, Five Stone Tax retained their clients, the work, and the funds received from clients for the work they were performing and/or should be performing. Based on what I've read, you have every right to be upset, just as we are by reading it, however, this complaint should be appropriately directed at Five Stone Tax if you are not receiving the services you paid them to perform. They are not affiliated with Tax Tiger in any way, and any complaints you have against them would get resolved quicker if those complaints were filed against the new company name Five Stone Tax. There are many remedies you have, the BBB is a good start, and the state attorney general of Texas is another. We hope you are able to resolve your issue with Five Stone Tax
