Taylor Reed & Sloan Brodman & Phillips Ripped me off for $3700.00 they collected on my behalf and never paid me. Fort Lauderdale Florida

On 3/17/13 I hired Brodman & Phillips to collect a debt from a customer who was ignoring my calls.  The first week they kept in contact with me and then nothing from them for months .On August 6 my customer informed me that they paid the bill in full to Brodman and Phillips. They furnished me proof the account is settled in full with a check on 4/3/13 and the balance was paid on 5/4/13. When I called Brodman and Phillips they rreferred me to Taylor,Reed and Sloan (Mike Taylor).

When I called Taylor Reed and Sloan I was told the account has not been paid and until it is paid in full we will not receive any money. They were missing one check. So I got verification from the bank that issued the checks and not only has it been paid in full, it shows it deposited into their account minths before. They say I will not receive payment until 90 after the account has been paid. Not only has it been over the 90 days but now I am being ignored. I have proof this money was paid and put into thier account. There HAS to be a way to stop these poeple from collecting money and not paying.
