Talyors Sport-n- import is the worst repair shop in the Lake Norman area. Untimely repairs and extremely rude and dishonest staff. My vehicle was sent in to have gaskets repaired and now I need a new engine. It's now 3 months and I still don't have my vehicle or a resolution in site. The case is now in the hands of the DOJ. Will keep you all updated, until then if at all possible avoid them. Keith, if you prefer to have a trial by media we can. My objective is really quite simple. Pay for the damage you caused to my vehicle. Don't call me and complain that your work patron made concessions to repairs that you cant afford. Don't send me a estimate dated 2 months after I took my vehicle to you with erroneous repair costs. your $7k bill is different from the $3,340 Christina Told me, which is different that what you told the sheriff which was $3,000 +/- . Keith you lied to the Sheriff on the balance of a Bill. What kind of business do you run? Wait...I believe you have numerous complaints about inflated billing dating back years just check your own reviews. I know you understand that NC has very strict consumer protection laws that you have clearly violated.

I have all the text messages to prove it, I asked you for your business liability insurance you refused to provide it. ( hopefully you have a valid insurance policy)... In regards to your nonsensical comment on the maintenance, the last company to touch my vehicle was Taylors, a few months back, if you check your records you will see that I was once a loyal customer you replaced the rear main seal in my 2012 X6. this year alone maybe 7k paid in repairs worked on my 2011 ML350 Bluetec. Nonetheless the lack of business ethic you and your establishment showed is evident. My oil is changed regularly, I top it off as needed and required by BMW. Its rather hilarious that you will and want to try to make it a maintenance issue or pass the blame on BMW and not your technician. Fact of the matter is my Vehicle was dropped off with no mechanical issues, no knocking, rattling, no performance issues whatsoever. You were supposed to replace, the upper oil pan Gasket, valve cover gaskets ( is that not maintenance...) 2 months later your patron avoids my phone calls, emails as is rude because I will not sympathize with the outlandish treatment and service you provided?

lets be honest, its quite possible that your technician when putting the vehicle back together made a mistake, maybe he ran it dry, dropped a tool, something happened to cause knocking and rattling that wasn't there on the onset. Once again repair what you broke it is that simple. On 08/17/18 I asked Christina to tow it to be BMW get a repair diagnostic analysis and if your technician felt competent and confident enough to repair the damage he caused then by all means do what needs to be done absorb the costs. parts, labor etc. and do what's right. Don't forget that she already agreed to absorb the costs of the repair. let me know if I should post the text messages on this forum. What you wanted to do was charge me for towing the vehicle to BMW and up charge me on the repair bill. like I said to you on the phone DO NOT INSULT my intelligence. As I told you on Monday 08/20/18 if you get something addressed to me in writing from BMW stating that its a mechanical defect and not your wrong doing, get something from BMW stating that they will replace my engine + give me a rental car until the repairs have been completed then we can talk. If and when you decide to do the right thing you have my number. Please use if should you chose to reach out and settle this matter. If not we will eventually have this discussion with the DOJ, SOS and your insurance carrier. I pray you have business and personal liability insurance. either way we will soon find out. Readers , my vehicle went in for gasket replacement the week of 06/12/18, no check engine light, no misfires, no issues unfortunately now from what TAYLOR SPORT n AUTO say has a knocking engine and is UN-drivable

Ownership and accountability is how businesses succeed

Keith, at some point you have to stop lying to yourself and to others 1) I’m the one who called the sheriff to meet me at your shop based on information he ( the sheriff ) gave me. I have the phone records to prove it. The second incident with the sheriff once agin I left after receiving my personal items, we had a discussion and I even gave you a hug and handshake before driving off and said we can work this out. Please don’t try to make me out to be a villain. 2) Kieth there is no such recall available at the moment. If you believe BMW will replace or repair it due to a manufactured defect the send it to bmw and they will contact me and we can settle the bill for your work based upon what Christina said and not a penny more, you will not upcharge me at all. You have a history of doing so, please read all your reviews it’s that simple. To attemp to hold my vehicle for ransom is questionable. You could have been paid last week. you know it’s not a defect that caused the issue but your technicians mistake, This is where we are. Once agin I’m not mad or upset people make mistakes just own up to it. 3) you gave me a contact to a service manager at BMW who in over a week hasn’t called back. I sent you an email advising of the lack of response. You have yet to reply or contact me to discuss this matter. The issue I have with your establishment is simple, repair what you broke. It is rather funny you will try to make it a maintenance issue, which is not the case. Prior to the car being in the shop on this occasion your shop recently repaired the rear main seal. I was told that included an oil change and new filter. A few months later I saw a few drops of oil and brought the vehicle in (wait... Keith doesn’t think that shows maintenance). To check and repair the leak. Not Excluding holidays there are approximately 21.6 working days in a month based on a 40hr work week. If you worked on my vehicle for 2 hours a day the repairs should have been completed with in 30 days. Readers it was 2 months and the vehicle is not ready, and numerous excuses as to why.

Keith you have my number you can call me and we can discuss it. Headed in to the 3rd month and still no resolution, Keith can not prove it was a bmw manufacturing flaw and I will not allow your to use that as an excuse. You have my number call me Once again take the vehicle to bmw have the diagnose the problem and we can take it from there. I will not pay you ( Taylor sport n import ) for damaging the vehicle.

Impossible to have a civil conversation with someone Pretending to be ignorant of the issues these engines have....

He brought his vehicle in for valve cover gasket replacement and upper and lower oil pan gasket replacement on his vehicle that he cannot seem to produce any maintenance records on. The oil that was drained out of the vehicle before repairs was extremely dirty. We did as was asked of us and replaced said gaskets. During this repair we found other issues with the vehicle due to lack of care. Everything was replaced and repaired correctly. The vehicle was test driven once completed and during 3rd test drive (this was a 30 hour repair, our procedure is to make sure vehicles are driven a few times to verify repair) the engine developed a tapping and knocking sound. We inspected the vehicle and found that the left side turbocharger waste gate bracket was worn out rattling and the right side was worn also.

We advised customer of our findings and replaced the turbochargers. After replacing turbochargers the tapping noise was no longer present but the knocking noise remained. We researched the concern further and found that BMW has a number of recalls present on the N63 engine. We also spoke with a BMW representative only to find out that they are in the process of issuing more recalls due to excessive oil consumption along with a multitude of other issues. It's very unfortunate for the owners of these vehicles however it appears that BMW is trying to correct the issues and make things right for their customers. We were in no way dishonest, we rechecked and verified that all the work we performed was done correctly. We also advised the customer that we would bring the vehicle to the BMW dealership to verify and he declined.

Nobody was rude to Mr Ukasoanya at any time, We made several concessions on his behalf to help him. He has been nothing but rude and threatening to deal with. He also refused to make time to meet and have a civil conversation about his vehicle. We have had to call the police dept twice now to litigate the situation and on both occasions the officers told him not to come back on the property unless it was to pay for the work performed and make arrangements to have his vehicle moved from the premises. If we are in the wrong as so he claims I do not believe the police dept would have removed him from the property. Should anyone have any questions regarding this matter please contact us for further information. 704-664-4099.
