T & C Towing towed our truck from Walmart to his yard 10 miles down the road when our drivers wife was rushed to the hospital and he did not feel he was safe to operate his motor vehicle. Property manager Gary called a tow truck to tow the truck within 1 our of notifying us that he was parked in the walmart parking lot, without notification or consent from our office, thus not having a chance to get another driver out there to move the vehicle. My driver returned to find his truck had been towed by the contracted co T and C towing. 

When we spoke to Chris he would not budge on his price of $2000.00 for 10 miles!  After my driver and I both explained the health situation and agreed to him pay for his services but asked if he could give us a break on his CRIMINAL SIZE total he neglected and blamed the rates on his insurance payments and says "I have charged that for 5 years and it isn't going to change".  T and C did not accept anything but certified funds or wire (after 5 pm when I spoke to him) thus causing my driver the need for a hotel bill and wait in PA instead of heading to VA to be with his wife in the hospital.  

Upon further conversation with locals this company is known for rates and inability to provide affordable services.  My recommendation is that Gary and the Walmart property owner request another towing company for their services.  I have no problem with the truck being towed but the attitude and price reflects poorly on both the property managers allowing (Gary "the proeprty manager" told me what the price was going to be as the T and C was hooking up to my truck) such gouging to occur.
