Thanks for all your kind words relating to our experience with TCRM Corp. apparently, going by the name of Brookside Mortgage Co. as well. We may not have mentioned in previous complaint, but the appraiser of the lot in S.C. we wanted to buy, and which we have bought through another lender, told us the appraisal fee was $250 and TCRM charged us $450. Originally TCRM wanted $850 for the appraisal and after complaining to them, they dropped the figure to $450... still above what the appraisal fee was. We have all the paperwork from TCRM stating that they needed the $850 for the appraisal as well..
Therefore, we want not only the $500 we put down initially as a deposit prior to getting the loan, but want the $200 add on for the appraisal and damages for our time lost, mental anxiety etc. The entire transaction changed 100% from the original terms..Interest went from 12% to 18%, Lender suddenly wanted to o wn 90% of the lot and we got to own 10%! Totally different from what we signed. The kicker was: The lender wanted to have a corporation formed to purchase the lot and would cost US another $2500! How does this sound to you? Damages and down payments and time lost, phone calls all day long for months, emails etc... comes to $1,950.
Wonderful thing about RipoffReport.com is that you can keep updating complaints against companies who have either mistreated or misrepresented themselves and you can state just the facts so that it does not happen to some other unsuspecting person. It is also wonderful that this website is widely read by so many law makers and government officials to keep their finger on the pulse of what is happening to the "little people out there"...Thanks for your support. Will keep you updated regularly as to when we receive the damages and funds from TCRM, at which time we will be glad to file a report stating that they have paid us.

Just wanted to let you know that we gave this organization until 1/7/05 to refund our money on the loan that never happened...We want our $1,950 in payments to them, damages, etc. and have not received it....We will keep updating you with any results and will certainly will file a report acknowledging that this has been paid....Please let me know if you have any questions out there..

HAVE FAXED AND EMAILED THESE PEOPLE AND NO REPLY YET...THEY HAVE OUR $500 ON A LOAN WE NEVER REC'D AND ALL THE TERMS CHANGED....THIS EXPERIENCE WAS A REAL LEARNING EXPERIENCE. ANYONE OUT THERE WHO HAS HAD SIMILAR PROBLEMS...SEE OUR OTHER REPORTS....PLEASE LET US KNOW...THANKS.
