TD Financial Inc. LOTTERY SCAM OUT OF ONTARIO, Toronto, Canada

I know this report is going to sound a lot like the others, but i think the more info we put out there on this company, the better. This way maybe they will stop.

My husband receive the letter and check in the mail. This check was for $3,950.00 to be used to pay the Non Resident Government Service Tax. Of course i signed the check and made my husband do the same. I was ready to deposit it.

Then we deceided to look more into this. I called the people like the letter said to do. I was to speak with Brian Smith (very common made-up name), but he was out of the office till friday. The lady that answered, Mia Avery, said she was also a assigned claims agent and could help me, but i had to call her back in 10 minutes cause she was working on something.

So i called back. She again said Brian was still off till friday, and that the receptionist was on maternity leave. She said i had only 5 days to deposit the check and have it clear before i could get my money. $450,000.00. Boy was I a happy camper. She said deposit it, then call back Tues. BUT.....My husband said lets look into this.

Mia said we won cause a store of some sort like Wal-Mart or Target entered our name cause we used a rewards card. The only rewards card we have is our credit card. So i called them, they didn't give our name or address. I even called the bank to see how long it takes a check to clear. 7 business days to 2 weeks he said.

Well there goes the idea of me getting my money in 5 days. So the next step was to google their name. Found this site THANK GOD. So many of the stories sounded exactly like ours. even the one person who gave the serial winning number, that was THE EXACT same number we won on. So we wrote VOID on the check. I'm reporting this now, and going to call the B.B.B. see what they can do, maybe even Chris Hansen.
