I was wanting to buy some wholesale goods in bulk for resell to help pay my medical bills, I have a lung disease and epilepsy, I am currently in the hospital right now to see about getting brain surgery done to cure my epilepsy and was really needing the profit from these goods to help pay to get it done.
I wired TDW $3220.xx for 5 pallets of hardgoods (tools, small appliances, etc...) from a large department store. The weight of all 5 pallets was suppose to be a total of 2,000 lbs. and measuring 4'x4'x4' I was never given a tracking number and when I called I was put on hold for over 20 minutes at a time and then was hung up on. When I called back they picked the phone up and hung it back up. I had to call the local police department just to get a tracking number.
When I looked the number up it said the pallets only weighed 1600 lbs. When I asked TDW about that they told me that I had to talk to Fedex about that...
When I got the pallets they were mostly 4x4x3 and one was 4x4x4 total weight of all 5 pallets was under 250 lbs.
Everything could have fit on 2.5 pallets and maybe even 2!
I am a very good seller, I sell things all the time in the local classifieds and on ebay and have always made a good profit on everything so I am not someone that doesn't know what their doing.
When I got home with the goods 40% was broken merchandise that was worthless and non salvageable, 30% was used items, 20% was goods with missing item, and 10% was very cheap goods.
TDW says they never cherry pick their merchandise and ship it to the buyer the way they receive it, but while unpacking everything I seen that the boxes had been cut open so someone could get into them and get items out.
All the items were thrown into the boxes.
I have inventoried 75% of everything (the most expensive items) and so far the MSRP on it is around $1600...
It is really sad that it is legal to run a deceptive business like this in our country.

With reference to Mr. Justin Epley this letter is to explain our position concerning his order. Attached is a copy of the invoice and terms & agreements from customer. First of all, we wish Mr. Justin Epley a successful recovery. On May 21, 2008 Mr. Epley purchased 5 pallets of mixed hardgoods from The Discount Warehouse. He was told at the time of placing the order that the merchandise is returns that may contain some shelf-pulls/overstock. He was also told that we have no control on what items a customer shall receive; all merchandise is being shipped out exactly the way they came in, which is in As Is condition in Bulk as stated on our terms & agreements which Mr. Epley Signed. We neither are nor perfect but when problems such as this happens we are sensitive to those who invest their money but most importantly their trust. With all that said, my supervisor has decided to honor credits to Custom Auto & More, LLC. C/O Justin Epley on future purchases. We hope we have clarified our position and hope Mr. Justin Epley and The Discount Warehouse will resume business and a continued relationship.
Why would I buy from them again and pay shipping on something that weighs 400 lbs. and when I get it find out it weighs 40 lbs?

Someone needs to shut this company down so they cannot do this to anymore people. I have read all the reports on them on here and it's really sad that someone can do this and get away with it.
