I included multiple addresses because they seem to move around a lot.  I am utterly shocked that when I Google Kevin Boyles, only bad things seem to pop up.  I want to know if there are others out there that feel like they were scammed.  I have prior experience with commodity investing and I guess I thought this was safer.  I thought that investing in domestic energy was a good patriotic investment especially if you couple it with all the good news about natural gas.  I feel like Kevin Boyles used finances to drill, frac and cap so when the MCF goes up a bit, the wells are already in place.  I took this as a long term investment with my 401K roll over.  I guess I just lost $39,500....ouch!!  Is there anybody else out there that can shine some light on this?

Have you been contacted by K&A?  What was your response to kirkland and associates?  Have we been scammed by TR?  Do we have any recourse?  I think we have been taken.

I was scammed also by bogus law firm

AUTHOR: newsmarts - ()

POSTED: Tuesday, July 29, 2014

I was contacted yesterday by what I believe is a fraud / scam regarding a class action lawsuit settlement against Team Resources Inc and Kevin Boyles.  The supposed law firm that contacted me was

Kirkland & Associates, 2719 Hollywood Blvd, # 161, Hollywood, FL 33020 , 1-888-364-1117

They sent me three legal looking documents from the email address info@kirklandassociates.com that basically requests I give them my bank account information to wire them $5000 to retain them as part of the settlement.  They claim they have the $11 Million in settlement money in trust but cannot release it until I sign and agree to them representing me.  They claim that they can then send me 50% of my initial investment back to me after they retain 20% of the 70% settlement.

I did a search and found there used to be a company registered in Florida by this name but it has not been registered/active for 7 years.  I also found in ripoff.com another (poorer like me) Grand Summit Fund investor that was contacted by someone claiming to be Cordell & Associates ( cordelllegal.com/contact.htm ) that has the same Florida address as Kirkland & Associates and the primary lawyers first names are phillip ? and Phillip Kirkland which is an interesting coincidence.  The Cordell & Associates website conveniently can't show who their lawyers are now.

Finally, I went to the website of kirklandassociates.com and looked at the lawyers listed there.  I then searched their names in the Florida State Bar Associations website.  All supposed lawyers (Phillip Kirkland, Robert Prescott, Gordon Downey, Jordan Hull) are not registered as practicing lawyers with the Florida State Bar Association contrary to their website claims that they are admitted to practice law in Florida.  I don't believe these individuals/lawyers exist.

I believe this is an elaborate scam complete with the scammers possessing details about Team Resources investors names and numbers, official looking websites, and fairly convincing information about the Grand Summit Fund investment failure to bleed more money out of unfortunate investors.

One question remains: How did the scammers get all this detailed information?  Is it public record? Has Team Resources Inc been diligent in safe-guarding sensitive investor information?

Team Resources Investor

AUTHOR: Ryan - ()

POSTED: Friday, May 09, 2014

Hello,

This week I was contact by a law firm called Cordell & Associates.  Their contact information is below.  They informed me that there is supposedly a class action lawsuit against Team Resources Inc.  They were also requesting over $6,000 in order to retain them prior to receiving 50% of my initial investment back.  I spoke to another lawyer and I believe the class action lawsuit is scam.  I tried contacting Kevin Boyles with Team Resources and could not reach him.  I reviewed Team Resources website and noticed the claim to a BBB accredited business.  They have the BBB logo on their main page.  I went to BBB and noticed they are not an accredited business and filed a complaint with the BBB.  I also put in a call to the district attorneys office in Ventura County, California to see if there is any open cases/complaints on Team Resources and I am waiting to hear back from them (805) 654-3622 -(District Attorneys Office).  I am concerned that Team Resources and Cordell & Associates may be conducting fraudulent activities.  I would like to connect with other individuals that invested through Team Resources Inc (Kevin Boyles-CEO) who feel they may have been victims of fraud.  Contact info: ryanryoung@yahoo.com
