Team USA Moving We hired Team USA Moving to move my wifes furniture from Omaha, Nebraska to Salt Lake City, Utah in October 2006. They kept on putting off the moving date, and then agreed to refund our $569.00 deposit. To this date, I have not received a penny from them. Fort Lauderdale Florida

In October 2006, we gave Team USA Moving a $569.00 deposit to move my wifes household belongings from Omaha, Nebraska to Salt Lake City, Utah. The move was to take place on October 4th or 5th 2006. The move kept on getting post poned, and then the company agreed to give us back our deposit. After making several promises to refund our money, they still have not done so.

Here's what you should do.....

AUTHOR: Jim - (U.S.A.)

Team USA seems to do this quite often because you decided to choose a broker and the price of the move they quoted was way too low for anyone to take.

Draft up a letter detailing the circumstances surrounding the proposed move by Team USA and demand your deposit back, send it by Certified Mail, return receipt requested and be sure to copy the Florida Attorney General, the BBB, the FMCSA, and your Credit Card Company/Bank, depending on how you remitted payment. That should get the attention of a few people - if that still doesn't work, you'll probably have to sue them for the deposit.

In the future - NEVER use a mover you found on the internet. Use a major named mover and make certain they come and see your belongings BEFORE the move, and not have you complete a ridiculous inventory sheet. That's their job to do, not for you to do for them.
